Might be the worst and certainaly the least creative reply but today
I refused to sell mine. Again. It looks newer than it is being a one owner.Today a guy followed me to my car at the ballpark raising his bid from 5k to 7k after I told him i had
208 miles. Get this...he then said $9?k??
I replied "i am fixing and maintaining her for a keeper. Just dont want money
instead of her.
No shit. He said $10k!? :bluejump:

That Tacoma is bad ass, so is your rig by the way. Wife is making me buy her a Tacoma Double Cab. She wants the sport, I want the TRD, its an uphill battle for me. Trying to convince her I can get the hood later and get the TRD. LOL. Not working out so well.

From the ones I have been looking for they all have the limited rear slip. Love it when guy selling trys to always tell me its better in snow, on the street and offroad because they are reliable and e lockers fail. Also that they are dangerous. I always have to explain to them I know how to use a locker, LOL.

Re-painted my sliders, didn't like the small rust spots that built up over the winter, now they look brand new.:guitar3::guitar3:

Also doing a clay,bar and 2 stage polish with wax to try to remove all the scratches that are on the car, it seems like someone is slowly keying my car only way to find out is take out the scratches and see.

Anyone else here polish and wax their 4runners, I thought I would never do it since I take it off-roading but it bothers me to see so many scratches

I polish mine. I'm the same way I don't like seeing scratches. BUT be careful trying to get out deep scratches if you have metallic paint you can go straight through the clear coat and end up making a nice paint blemish if you stay in the one spot too long. (Learned the hard way) If I were to do it again I would pay someone to do it.

Today I started my front end overhaul. She's getting new ITR, OTRs, upper and lower ball joints, and the Tundra brake upgrade. I've been stockpiling parts for about a month so I could do it all at once. Got the driver's side about halfway reassembled but I'm waiting on the UBJs to get here so that held me up. Tearing into the passenger side tomorrow. If the parts aren't here when I'm finished with everything on that side I guess I'll start on the timing belt.

Once these major projects are out of the way I'm going to tackle the rear axle bearings, seals, and brakes, and then hopefully not have to do anything to the 4Runner for for a while and I can get back to wrenching on the car! :zoom: :beer:

Friday my boss got super stuck in some swamp mud "its been raining like crazy here" so I went to work and pulled it out my self....it wasn't even mud it was like I said swamp mud more water then mud needless to say I got it out without struggle ( low gear and lock rear ) silly 2wd ford f-150 :zoom:

Nice! I've been thinking about trying this out on my rig... Do you have any pics with the wheels in the sun instead of the shadows?

On topic: vacuumed and cleaned the inside of my truck for the first time in a good while... happy camper now

Here's a close up in-the-sun pic ...

It looks lighter than it really is in the above picture ... It is really more this color (darker) ...

If I had to compare the color to something I would say it's very close to "factory black" trim (almost black) ... It actually matches my Bedliner bumpers and trim almost perfectly!

Pulled my HIDs out, both died. Put the OEM bulbs back in. And got more mud on the side of it.
I considered buying a locker and swapping it in, I want 4x4 but I can't find any good ones I can trade my 2WD in for.

Finally fixed my steering wheel. Then went for a sunset cruise last night with my fiancé. Was nice to get some dirt on the tires.
