Yesterday me and a friend change my right rear axle seal and then I change out my rear diff fluid at 308263 miles

It's designed to be removable without damaging the original surface, however I have seen it last several years without peeling ... Bedliner is MUCH more durable though ... But it's designed to be ...

Nice! I have the same bumper on order. Roy was a great guy to talk to. He took the time and answered my questions, i appreiciate that because i know he's a busy man. Are you considering a winch for this bumper? And if so which one? I'm reading up on winches now because i want to order one for when my bumper arrives.

Today, I replaced a timing belt tensioner for the first time. And I did it without touching the AC bracket! Wobble sockets ftw. Slowly but surely getting through my first timing belt change.

Can't actually say I did this all today, but I've been pretty busy over the last couple of weeks. So here goes:
lifted OME 881 front w/OME shocks.
LC 8 wrap in back.
New upper/ lower ball joints.
Re-geared from 4.10 to 4.30
Installed rear elocker (full axle)
Jumped up to 265/75/16 BFG KO's

Nice ... I like the painted lower body cladding ... If i had that trim I would use the bedliner all around as well ... Love that stuff!

Got a flowmaster two chamber muffler on today that I bought just a little used for $20 and it sounds like I have a hemi :bravo:

I haven't actually done anything, but I've thrown a lot of money at her the last few days. New NAPA calipers for the tundra brake upgrade, brembo rotors, akebono pads, and new OEM inner tie rods have been ordered. I still need to order new OEM outer tie rods, I'm just deciding if I need/want to replace the steering rack boots while I'm there so I haven't ordered that part yet. I also got in on the Shrockworks group buy for a set of sliders I've been wanting for a while now.
Also, for anyone interested NAPA is running a sale through the end of the month where you buy a bucket and anything that fits in the bucket is 20% off. It worked for me for the calipers so I bought a $4 bucket and saved $18 a caliper, so they only ended up being $69 each for the NAPA ones with the lifetime warranty, black powdercoat, and 24 months roadside assistance. I think these are probably as good as it gets except for new OEM ones.
I may have found a pretty good deal on OEM inner tie rods as well. I paid $163 for both sides shipped which is cheaper than the 555 brand at NAPA even. Camelback Toyota lists them at $126 or $252 for both sides. I don't want to post anything about it here yet, but once I get the parts in my hands and can verify that they are genuine I'll make a thread on this. I think they should be, but I don't want to give a review of a business before I receive the product. If it works out that's a great deal on those inner tie rods, considering my OEM ones have lasted 170k miles. They haven't failed, but they don't hold themselves up anymore which I noticed when I changed the LBJ a few weeks ago.

Got my mileage back up to 21mpg. Bought an MV50 had little patience for my Ryobi cordless pump. Dusted off some high amp 10g silicone wrapped wire and connectors from my hobby days for install of pump either under hood or inside rear panel, can't decide how involved I want to get with a 50 buck compressor.
I'm going to drop the drive shafts off to be modded to fit. Can't wait!

Tail pipe rusted off the factory original muffler, can't blame it, shes 14 years old and 215,000 miles young
, so upgraded while she gave me the chance.
Same sound level as stock at idle, maximum 10% louder than stock while revving. Can't hear it unless you really try with the windows up, blends in nicely with the engine with the windows down. Very happy with my purchase!
I don't know if any of you feel a little bump in power at a specific RPM, but when I'm givin it to her, right at 3200~ rpm she had a noticeable power jump, after installing this muffler, that little jump seems to have moved down to about 2700~ rpm, which is awesome. Again, just a little seat of the pants power feel, no additional power, but seems to have opened up the power band a bit. This is in conjunction with the deckplate mod. BTW I also tried out the ISR mod, cool sound, but too loud. Noticed a slight decrease in seat of the pants low end torque, even less noticeable seat of the pants high end horse power. Its easier to notice the power differences with 33's on her than it was with stock tires. I'm assuming the deck plate mod has the same effect, but I havent plugged up the deckplate to see since I've had the bigger tires.
Also had a brand spankin new passenger headlight put in FINALLY after 2 years of running her with the headlight pointed at the ground right in front of me (previous owner hit it or something and broke the mounts, had to get entire new headlight assembly to fix, went brand new cuz I want it to last another 300,000 miles ). Got new drums and shoes in the back, she needed them bad. Oprah is happy now that she can see better and stop easier. Also replaced a fuse so my rear and 2 of the front DC outlets work that hadnt before, and replaced my zip ties holding on my grill with actual clips. Shes sittin pretty for now!
