Found out its not my heater core hoses ...I have no idea were my radiator fluid is going but I do know its not in my transmission....

ruh roh... check the oil. could be Head Gaskets...

Dropped the 4WD runner off at the diff shop.. She's getting 4.88's and a rear ARB locker. Can't wait to get her back next week.

Are you still running 32'' tires ? I ask because I have 4:88 gears and ARB sitting in the garage ready to go but my 32'' tires are in good shape .

Yeah still running 32s but next on the list are some 33s, maybe on the big side of 33. With the 32s there is a small but noticeable degradation in overall performance.

I'm running 100% of the time in ECT power mode now. Slower acceleration, works harder than I want it to for how its driven. Soon it will be 100+ for the 6 months of summer. Had to do something.

Either could supercharge it or gear it since going 33s. Gearing with ARB locker and armor was a better choice for my needs at this time. In a week or so I'll have it back and can comment on what its like with 32s...

Today was a ridiculously productive day. I didn't have class after 11, so from then until just now I have been working non stop on the 4runner to get it ready for expo. I got pretty much everything done on the front half and the list includes:

• Swap in new halos
• Rewire fogs
• Wire my 700FF's
• Wire wideband
• weld in wideband O2 bung (This was a ***** and a half...)

To weld in the wideband we had to remove the cat pipe which was not fun. Over the course of removing it we snapped one of the upper studs found that one of my coilovers is leaking. I am going to take care of the stud when I have some more cash and the coilovers are going to get rebuilt shortly... All in all it was a pretty good day lol.

Yea me too haha the stupid hose is a pain tommorow hopefully going to change the other two ....the hoses are pretty darn good 19 years old with 308608 miles :eyebrows:

I confirmed that the 99 Limited doesn't have a drain plug on the gas tank.

If you ever have to drain old gas from a dead car (Dodge Neon, but I repeat myself), don't put it in an unlabeled gas can.

I replaced the MAF, intake tube, and brake booster (yay deferred maintenance!) and it ran great. I noticed that the tank was almost empty, so I grabbed a gas can out of the garage and added a couple gallons. Started it back up and it ran great for a minute, then died.

Wouldn't start up again. Double-checked my work, checked for spark and fuel, all good. Finally decided to try starter fluid in the TB and it started right up... and died again as soon as it used up the starter fluid. I dropped the skip plate today and there is no drain plug. I'll pick up a siphon this weekend and drain out the old gas.

Put a new battery in her today. Went with a Duracell. I knew she was going to be needing one soon, today while sitting in her with the keys in ACC I was listening to the radio when it suddenly cut out. My lights had also been on yes,I forgot they were, but I had only been sitting there maybe 10-20 minutes. That shouldn't have killed the battery... It had also been cranking a little slower occasionally lately.

Gave the carpets in my Runner a little bit of TLC today. They were stinky and full of coffee and oil stains.

It's not a perfect job by a long shot, but it definitely did the carpets some good.
