Spent a day trouble shooting my electrical system was getting battery drain. .01 every 15minutes. After shooting everything and removing my karr alarm. I went back to look at my LED lights. It shot fine but when I touch it, it was hot. The heatsink was hitting the positive connector. No idea why it didnt blow a fuse. Sending back to amazon for something different.

Detail clean, New poly bushing, brakes...etc

New bushing all the way around f/r, brake pads f/r, flushed brake fluid, power steering fluid, oil/filter and air filter changed and finalized her with a good detailed bathing

The humble beginnings of my Mark II onboard sensor package carputer:



Building it using an RPi 2, 5" touchscreen, and it'll be talking to an Arduino Uno that manages the analog sensors + HUD display. Expect to use it to handle my boost gauge functionality, plus external temperature probes, alongside the current MPG/temps/voltage/compass I've got in the Mark I.

Fun to be writing code again.

Finally got my Savage sliders situated and welded up and gots my JBA catback exhaust installed. It's so hot here, though. Milk was a bad choice-

Ordered 5 FN five stars in grey, Icon front coilovers, fox 2.0 rear shocks and rear 3" toytec coils. Expensive day and I can't wait to get them installed because my stock suspension is blown lol

Baller man! I have been throwing around the Idea of doing something similar to replace my HU. What's stopping me is that I don't have much experience coding in Arduino IDE... I bet it's similar to labview, but I have so many other projects going on I don't have time to learn a new language.

Arduino is just straight C, so if you can program in any language, you can probably pick C up pretty fast. Then again, I've been using it for 20 years, so maybe I'm skewed.

Always happy to help out someone using it seriously.

New to the site, but have recently started moding my t4r. In the last week I have done the tundra brake upgrade (big should out to Speedy), took off the running boards and put on some new wheels and rubber (265/75R16 BFG AT KO2s). Rubs a little up front, so next is a couple inches of lift.
Having a blast working on this thing.
