Finally got my blue seas fuse block, mounting spot is temporary. Looking for some high density plastic to mount it with hinges and wing nuts. Also ordered a 25" light bar to sit in the grille.

The body lift, was a cinch.

The front bumper, that according to numerous sources was a direct bolt on, couldn't be further from the truth. However in the spirit of "oh hell no, this ain't holding me up", I need to modify 4 holes in the bumper to fit. And cut off the front frame caps from the mounting area of the oem front bumper, and remove the center frame gusset that supports the skid plate.

I finished up a retrofit for a fellow user, replaced my brake light bulbs, and did that antenna splitter/adapter to take advantage of the vanity antenna. Oh, and washed it.

The annoying part, i didnt want to do a bumper on my 04 tacoma. The TG one, would bolt right up on there.... :flame:

I had to basically do the tundra brake mod again due to a seized caliper.
New pads, rebuilt calipers......again, rotors weren't too bad, just got them turned.
Really sux for just 20k miles.

Replaced the tranny mount today... once I straightened it out

Notice the kink at the bolt? Didn't take much to straighten it out though.

Replaced my old chrome bumper today and sealed and painted the plastic parts. Bout done with completing my red/black scheme. Finally starting to make my dream a reality when I first bought this truck 2 years ago. Now that im gradiated from college and whatnot I got more time and $$$ for it.

Just got back from work for a few days and I installed my Airaid MIT. Installation was easy and only took about 30 minutes. First impressions, engine bay looks much smarter, next spark plug change will be easier and so far no dramatic increase in noise.

I get my AIRAID MIT on Tuesday. It looks much cleaner with it in, I am definitely looking forward to installing it.

Maybe that is just the rear? Inexpensive from Toyota and hard to find in the usual parts stores I think.

Its the rear wiper. It is hard to find a replacement for the rear wiper, and mine is bent. I couldn't replace just the rubber wiper part, had to replace the entire blade.

Most (all?) aftermarket stereos only have a slot for one antenna, but our 4Runners have two. So what you do is buy a that plugs into the head unit, and then you have a spot for both of the antennas. The plug for the "vanity" antenna on the back glass is a different size though, so you need an adapter for it.

I noticed absolutely ZERO difference from this mod. My reception is still awful.

Here are the parts... Some people swear by this mod, but I am far from impressed, lol...

Ahh I see. Meh, I'll pass. I noticed the factory Toyota radios have crap reception for the most part. Mine will be short lived. What really drives me bonkers, is the 04runner radio sounds better than my 04 tacoma.... Oh well. It's gone soon enough.

Got the rims paints, running boards off, emblems blacked out and half the limited cladding painted. Now the question....silver or black?
