Ordered level 8 mk6 in gunmetal, Cooper at3 265/75/16 load C, and black lug nuts. local discount tire got the price down to $1,021 out the door, before $70 Cooper rebate.

Hey guys I was wondering how the toytec/ Eibach front coil lift spring pair, 112-620 with blistein 5100 series shock absorbers would be for my 2001 4wd 4runner with about 177k miles on it. I don't know much about getting a lift an I would mainly do it for looks and maybe a little offroading here and there. Are those the only two things I need to buy for getting a 3'' lift?

If I can't replicate it I ignore it. Takes some will power but it's not worth the headache of finding a random, non repeatable noise.

What did you do to your 3rd gen today?
Funny thing is after trying as best as I could to replicate it all the rest of today.. It seems to have fixed itself (for now). So.. I'm going to take your advice and forget it ever happened. Haha!
That all being said.. I got it washed up and clean again for the first time in about 2 months! She's lookin good.

I had a (not so) similar incident happen to me. I was driving to and from work one weekend and I had my back pack in the passenger front seat. Every bump I hit I would hear a faint, metal clicking together like sound and it was bugging the crap out of me. Turned out to be some metal, shackle like skateboard holders on the bottom of my bag and I was super relieved yet feeling not so bright. :doh:

Rear lighting pictures I promised.
Big 3 mod, I copied 4-Ripcord on the mounting.
These switches have a really solid feel and click when you switch them on.
Replaced my driver side seat bottom with a passenger bottom out of a wrecked 3rd gen in Minnesota. It's so much better now looks wise, and you can feel a difference sitting in it too. The foam is all supportive again!
And I finally made a build thread!!!!

Mine got the driver side firewall grommet re-sealed thanks to finding a small pond under the driver's carpet trying to clean it Thursday. Interior was cleaned yesterday, today will get a new master cylinder and exterior wash. Soon to order my "Big 3" upgrade in conjunction with a new fuse panel so I can wire up my heated seats and get them operational since the weather is dropping quickly around here.
Weather Tech floor liners front and rear.
Did the same, but with black. It's crazy how much crap has accumulated in a day.
Looking at getting the canvass back liner for the rear. My dog tracks in a stupid amount of sand when we go to the beach.
Have new bulbs, bug deflector and replacement fogs to install. Unfortunately, I'm still in a sling from shoulder surgery and will need to wait another month :/

haha. Nice. Well, I'm hoping that it was just a fluke thing like that as well. Maybe there was a car near me with squeaks going on and it just happened to be following me for that mile or two stretch close to work.. :noidea:
We shall see.
I'm loading the 4Runner up tomorrow for a 3 day camping trip down by the beach, so hopefully all goes well on the travels. :yo:

Here's the lights. So far so good with them. I bought them for their size too. $50 for a pair isn't bad either. I did tighten all the Allen bolts on them though just to make sure. I love this rack. Best mod yet, so useful. Plus it gives me a cool place to sit!

Where are you heading? Sounds like some fun, definitely jealous there. With this years school work and work, I haven't been able to do any camp/surf trips yet. Hopefully I can catch one before it gets too cold.

New front brakes (pads and rotors), installed transmission cooler so I don't have to think about milkshakes anymore.
Coming along nicely after 2 months of ownership. Riding like a dream right now with the Fox shocks and all the new suspension parts, lift, wheels, tires, alignment, tune up.

The wife and I slept in it for the first time! Avoided $150+ hotel prices to watch #2 Baylor play some football today. Plenty of space for both of us. We just laid down a couple thermarest pads and sleeping bags, and cracked the front four windows. Dirtbag, I know...
I've been spending some time looking at cargo/sleeping platforms. Building one is definitely in our future.
