I guess the bad thing is that im not pre-wired and i dont have the locking control module but i guess im gona have to get it from the dealer. It would be sweet if it would turn to be a just simple swap but the this one came out of a 2000 tacoma that was in a wreck and im just gona used the 3rd member and im still keeping my fingers cross to check if the locker works.

Yeah some of the cheaper wiring on items is a real Pain In The Arse. Best bet is to trim back about 1/2" behind the end of their wire, perform a "Western Union Splice" and then solder it with flux and rosin core solder. Personally, I like a bit of over kill. Heat-shrink tubing is nice, but I'll also run a layer of Scotch 33+ over it after.

I beat the absolute snot out of my new suspension system, just a set of TRD tundra fronts, 99 tall rears and 5100 bilsteins. Monstered a couple Northern California fire and BLM roads, the car held up great. So happy with my investment. Stubb welding sliders on order, will get them next week.

I was completely fed up with the lack of light. So, I wired in 2 9w LED lights as ground flood for the rear hatch area. Hoooooof that is some light.

I bought the same ones, but I haven't wired them up yet. I was planning on putting them in the trim along the headliner. How's the output?

The output is INSANE for their size. However, they need about an 1-1/4" mounting depth. You may have a hell of a time installing them. If you want something around the trim area, I'd suggest using the LED strip lights.

Did you ever figure out a way to add a cabin air filter to your '01? I've got an '00 and the dust that accumulates inside is driving me nuts! I've spent hours scouring the interwebs for a modification or retrofit write-up but haven't found anything yet.

Nah man, I'm back in uni right now and I dont have the time or money for anything lol

But if you do figure something out let me know! Maybe if the first gen tacos have one you could swap it into your runner. Dont know what else to tell ya.

Spot welded my rola roof rack today, still gotta rhinoline it. Painted the sr5 caps I got from DFarms and am really happy how my 231 calipers turned out today after paint.

Yesterday at the salvage yard I scored a set of stainless steel rear heater lines for a whole $10 vs. $100 at the dealer to replace my questionabley rusty ones on my '96. My intention was to proactively replace most of the line with rubber hose until I determined that ~'00-'02 received stainless ones from the factory so I went that route instead. The install went pretty good once I determined the magic combination of twists required to get them fished through.

If you need more light thrown into the cab, its possible there may be some room to mount them on the rear hatch plastic cover, in the area it is rolled towards the window (if that makes sense).

You can see where I mounted mine. Look at the area near the rear window, that beveled area is pretty large.

I installed a 2' Firestik on one of my CBI ditch light brackets. Noticed the Firestik was stiff AF so I bought a springy thing. Slapped it all together and it looked horrible. Didn't take any photos and took it all off.. Now to source a fancy rear antenna mount (and a longer antenna)!

Finished the Supercharger installation! Talk about a new truck!

Also did a coolant flush, finished the LED conversion for the dash, and the rear breather mod. Progress, just working my way through the long list of things to do before winter!

Replaced my Brake Booster Check Valve & Grommet.

Next on the list is Oil Change and Drive Belts.

The problem was that the 13pin blue plug was not connected at all since the rs3000 harness has a 13pin blue plug that it need to be connected where you door plug goes and my was just in a loop with in the rs3000 and was not plug in into the power windos 13pin blue connector.
