Going through the hills on 280 in the Birmingham area in rush hour traffic are what made me do the TBU. It's a huge difference.

I installed a 2' Firestik on one of my CBI ditch light brackets. Noticed the Firestik was stiff AF so I bought a springy thing. Slapped it all together and it looked horrible. Didn't take any photos and took it all off.. Now to source a fancy rear antenna mount (and a longer antenna)!

Drifter has about 20 brackets left from his group buy he did on here.

Yes those hills are a killer! Not to mention when you're pulling something down some of those long 2 mile down hills..

Installed VLEDs LEDs in my front corner lights. I used to run 921 type (incandescent) amber bulbs,which are larger and brighter than the original tiny 194 type bulbs, but after a while the amber coloring fades. These LEDs are brighter than my old 921's even in broad daylight. I could have gone even brighter (triple the lumens rating) by ordering the 921 type LEDs but the 194's I bought are half the price of the 921's and are bright enough for me.

Yes those hills are a killer! Not to mention when you're pulling something down some of those long 2 mile down hills..

I couldn't imagine... I just remember the wheel shaking a lot, so much that it was almost making a banging noise. I ordered all the stuff for the TBU as soon as I got home. Money well spent for sure. She's smooth and confident all the way down now.

As for what I did to my 3rd gen I drove it today, and looked at my ShrockWorks skid plates sitting in the garage. I can't wait to get them on!

Getting it ready for winter after sitting for a few months. Oil change, tire rotation, got it "rustproofed", installed a new ebay antenna, and changed the front rotors with Prontos from RockAuto. Cheap, but got rid of the shuddering so I'm happy. Putting off the timing belt, but with 53k miles, hopefully its still good for at least another year.

Got around to putting new drive belts on. Gear wrenches are a must when installing new ones.

Sitting in front of the house letting the mud crack and fall off and the rain wash it off while waiting to get paid from an odd job I did so I can buy a brake booster for it and start driving it again. All the while contemplating an SAS and 350 Chevy swap.

Had to remove one of the VLED bulbs I installed earlier today and put back the old incandescent bulb, when I arrived @ work I noticed the bulb was randomly flashing and shutting down...dammit

NEXT DAY UPDATE: VLEDS is sending me a new pair,no mention of sending the damaged one back so I guess I have a backup bulb :thumb3:

Replaced my PCV valve and raised the front suspension 2 inches. Also, I finally changed the rear window wiper with this wiper<---MASH here
