Yesterday I took her to the woods to test out the new Kings and do a little hunting. Got a call that an f250 was stuck not far from me. Evidently his help didn't want to scratch their truck, so I told them I would be by after hunting. Got there around 6pm, pouring rain, few gentle tugs and he was free. Today, she sat in the garage!

I took it on some dirt roads as people have noticed by the rims, but nothing to crazy. Didn't seem to have any problem with rubbing during that run. I know it sits a little close and could probably be fixed with a little grinding of the top edge but we will see how it does for now.

Damn sexy bumper! I am hoping they run a Black Friday sale so I can order one soon.

When I first got the truck two years ago I went through the whole brake system. At the time I didn't know about the Tundra brake upgrade, and went with stock NAPA replacements. I've warped the rotors twice since and have generally hated the truck's braking, to a point where I almost considered getting rid of it.

After the rotors warped the second time, I had just had enough. I am very happy with the upgrade, I noticed a definite improvement in the braking performance driving around last night and today.

Found the 02 tails from Eagle Eyes on ebay, and also picked up a set of Depo replacement OEM foglights. Need to get the new turn signal stalk with fog light control, then I will install those as well.

Thanks for the tip I will take a look at Eagle Eyes tonight.

It says 99-02 because it wasn't offered before 99. You should be fine.

Should be fine. First hail storm will dent that bad boy and you will have to spend a lot of money finding the hood scoop insert. Good luck!

This particular job is new to me as it's the first time I've managed to bust something inside there.
I'd like to say I've learned my lesson and will accept winching rather than trying to drive something like that. I'd prolly be lying if I did, though.

Did two exciting things:
1. I got the tracking number for my rock sliders from Richard at Stubbs welding.

2. I got out of class early, and went driving I found a way to access a remote part of shoreline of the Corps of Engineer's reservoir near my school. The water line is down, so I could go a decent way down it before I hit bluffs and had to turn around.

This is why I love my 4Runner so much. I love being outside, camping, hiking, mountain biking, kayaking, and all that stuff. My 4Runner takes me there (and beyond) with ease and in relative comfort. I think I fall in love a little bit more each day.

Sorta kinda vroom slide hop hop oh there's a noise. On the 3rd or 4th attempt. Was trying to get past a steep spot I kept getting stuck in. Attempting a different line when it went. Apparently I sucked at it.

Changed out the valve cover gasket..spark plugs and wires.

Very clean - what kind of oil are you using?

Probably grenaded my rear diff or the ring and pinion. Something is definitely crunchy/clunky back there lol.
