Lack of switch spots is the number one reason I've stuck to my 96's console, what you've done looks awesome.

Today's quick little junkyard bits mod so my kid will stop hogging all the powers:

Sure, it's tan on a grey console, but it matches the tan arms in the cup holder from when I replaced the broken arms way back when. Let's just say I've embraced my interior interior designer. Whose style appears to be garage sale.
Also junkyard beggars cannot be too choosy in this town. It's a 3rd gen desert out there.

Haha great minds... I'm looking for a tan one to put on the backside too. Might just paint a black one if that's all I can find.

Oil change.. greased the drive shaft... rotated the tires. Luckily I was at least in the garage because the 'feels like' temp was -16F during this...

StreetCreeper What App are you using to monitor your Runner.

I'm not monitoring anything with an app. Not sure which post you may be referring to other than the fuel log app. If that's what you are referring to, it's an app called Fuelly. You have to do input the data each fuel up manually.

Troubleshooting my coolant system problem

Today I spent the majority of daylight filling and burping my radiator, there was a lot of air in there after popping a hose a few nights back. The heater is working again thankfully with these 3 degree nights. M problem now is that the dash temp gauge wont move past 1/4 up the scale. could this be caused by a faulty coolant temp sensor? Or is it more likely that the thermostat got stuck open after overheating? Thanks to anyone with advice.

Added snorkel, ToyTec adjustable lower links and panhard. I turned the intake to the snorkel around towards the front. Worried about vacuum but didn't want snow getting sucked in.

Got a call saying it was done at the shop. Excited to pick it up Monday. Hoping it's a whole new vehicle now that the timing and fpr is set right and functioning. Taking it to an exhaust shop Tuesday to have a 2.5" cat back installed with a Borla 40655 muffler. Gonna be a whole new vehicle.

Changed fluids in both diffs and transfer case out for Amsoil Severe Gear, changed the transmission fluid (also to Amsoil), installed a Magnefine filter, and greased my prop shafts. Good lord does ATF *stink*.

THe whole process took longer than it should have... We messed around for an hour getting it level on the jacks. I couldn't find my 10 and 12mm allen key sockets. After a trip to two places to get a couple sockets, we found the drain plug all buggered up and impossible to remove. Took 30 minutes to remove. Impact wrench couldn't move it. Ended up finding a 2' cheater bar that broke it loose.

Have a new radiator (looks like the truck has the original rad still) and some Toyota red to do a full flush (it's full of green stuff). We ran out of daylight though. That'll have to wait until next weekend.

Took my baby to the shop today to finally get my Tundra disc breaks installed in the front.

Not a ton of room between the 16" wheel and the caliper, but hey, it fit!

And while BSing with my friend/mechanic I mentioned that I would like to do an ISR. He dug through his spare pipe bin, found a turbo pipe that was the right size, cut it, installed it, and drew on a TRD logo with a paint pen for a few extra horsepower.
