I did some maintenance and changed the oil, and changed the fuel filter. The fuel filter wasn't really that dirty, but it does deliver some noticeable difference.

I did finally accept that I have to get rid of my 285/75/16's and go to a 265/75/16. It rubs the frame, only on one side though...

Just the rear anchor points....I'm going to have to change my post to state that.
I was surprised to find the LATCH system has a 45# limit? I did not know that. Not that it affected my non-latchy trucked self.

My kid is finally too big for a booster. Finally. Just barely squeaked the required height for 6th grade. Other kids are rude when they find out a 5th grader has a booster. Thankfully he could care less what other kids think. Which is good because he is weird. This apple apparently didn't fall far from the tree, what can I say?

My 255/75/17's rubbed ever so slightly on the frame as well before my spacers and they're narrower and shorter than your 285's. Just fyi before you go buy new tires.

Wired up my 3 LED bars on the roof rack

Finally got around to wiring up the two 9" bars and one 20" bar on my roof rack.
Used a blue sea fuse block in the back passenger side wheel well panel and reused the black spacer box that was attached. I hooked them up to a pilot 4 channel switch box with remote so I can turn them on from a distance if needed from the keychain sized remote.

Here is a shot of the roof rack from the side.
One 9" bar on each side and a 20" bar in the rear.
All work from remote control, I still have 1 switch port left in my pilot box so I was thinking of hooking up the future rock lights to it.

Tried to fix Unique rear window problem

I've read a ton of threads on rear window problems, but this one appears to be unique.

Today, I took the interior panel off the hatch and tried to find out what made the window go down in the middle of the night while parked.

FWIW, I found the problem seems to be electrical, but I don't know what exactly.

The motor has 12v on the connector at all times and the motor is warmer than the surrounding metal. When I push the console switch up, the voltage on the motor goes to zero. when I press down, it is 12v. When i release it, it remains at 12v.

No idea whassup with that.

My 255/75/17's rubbed ever so slightly on the frame as well before my spacers and they're narrower and shorter than your 285's. Just fyi before you go buy new tires.

I am going down to the 265/75/16's, I am going to lose just over an inch in total tire height. I thought about spacers, that won't fix the slight rubbing on the body.

I changed the oil at the on-base auto shop. It was nice and convenient being able to use the car lifts. With that being said, nothing really seems to help changing the oil filter.
Came home and changed the 2 Hella lights the previous own installed to a 20" LED light bar. I wasn't impressed with the wiring job he did, but I don't have the time, resources, or desire to redo that at this time.

Had the driveshaft lubed and oil changed - tried to mount the Fumoto valve - threads won't cooperate - arghh! Ho, hum, boring...

Put in a second Blue Sea fuse block. This one is in-cab and for the start battery. It's also switched power whereas the house battery fuse block is constant.
I already have a Blue Sea block by the batteries in the engine compartment, this one I wanted in the cab.

After trying the block in lots of places I totally stole the where to put it idea from [MENTION=70319]robb1887[/MENTION] (thanks). Mine is a little different in execution...

The jack bits bag that was there tucks nicely under the left seat, you can see the top of it in the pic above.

My buddy and I worked on the 4runner today. We changed out the outer tie rods and the inner tie rods, as well as the lower ball joints with all OEM parts. My friend is a mechanic and has way nicer tools at his disposal than I have on hand. It feels good to have this done as I have been sitting on these parts for a while now. I have an appointment for an alignment tomorrow morning.

Next up, in a few weeks I will install my Shrockworks front bumper. I still need to get my B&M transmission cooler instead. I want to change my transmission fluid at the same time though. I need to get on that.
