Huuuuge "day" for my truck.

Scored a full set of weather tech mats off ebay for $75. Detailed interior in preparation. Cleaned carpets, cleaned and lubed all door crevices and hinges, cleaned and conditioned leather everything in the truck. Cleaned glass inside, ect.

Found an addicted offroad rear bumper last night that ships this week.

Best for last. Found a wrecked 4runner, the guy just got it back this weekend locally. Lifted on icon suspension, Sr5 fender flares, led lights on roof and arb front bumper, TRD supercharger, meth injection, fj wheels and toyo 33s, Downey headers, damage to rear end and hatch only. Ton of awesome parts, towing it home tonight for $1400.

Not today but Saturday I replaced both LBJs, tie rod ends, 200k+ stock springs and old shocks with Billstein 5100s on 3rd perch and toytec springs. Now...it's raining. Hopefully I will get to rear springs, shocks, and extended sway bar links this weekend.

YESTERDAY: Took apart in throttle body and clean all the components (MAF, TB, IAC). Also checked all the vacuum lines. Seems this simple cleaning has fixed my issue of having the RPMs randomly drop. Also no more slight miss when heavy on the throttle. \

TODAY: Took a few buddies with me down some dirt roads to go elk horn hunting. Only found one, but it felt great to have a truck running 100% and I love getting it dirty!

Got a bunch done today. Wish I woulda got more done but Im still pleased with progress. Mounted my new stubby antenna, mounted my LED pods on the bumper and realized both sides arent even so I need to move them. Started the front end lift today. Got both struts out and got one rebuilt. Need to rebuild the other thursday, do the diff drop and then put the struts back in. I also really need to extract the lower bolt for my seatbelt thursday. Also ended up installing my new fuse block. Not hard wired yet, need to pick up a new positive battery terminal tomorrow.

Hold your horses we are replacing our 2 fiestas with 2 new colorados. Even though every driver myself included working at our store told the manager and the regional manager(the one who made the final decision) to get new tacomas. I think the regional manager saved a couple grand getting colorados since he is that kind of guy. The airbags didn't even deploy in the Tacoma but the other two vehicles had deployed airbags.

I'd rather be into it for nothing after parting the truck out, over 3900 I paid for the stuff new. It only has 125k miles on the longblock, so I'm going to keep that for a spare most likely. If I get ambitious I'll just swap it into my truck right away.

I installed my 2' CB antenna. I am using a convertor to run my CB and AM/FM radio antenna through the same antenna. So far I am just using the AM/FM side of it and it is great.

Yes - I am using it for only AM/FM at the moment as I have not installed my CB radio yet. Yes - I am running a convertor that allows this to happen. I am using this splitter here. I also setup my CB antenna on a quick detach mounted to a CBI ditch light bracket.
