I took my running boards off. Makes it look a couple inches taller, I think it looks nice.

That does look nice. Another thing that's free and makes it look a little taller is cutting the rubber (black) part off of the rear mud guards.

Cleaned out a horrible squirrel nest from under the hood, and got my a/c, abs, and wipers working again. Had to basically re-pin the connector on the abs because the squirrels chewed it really bad

Replaced my LbJs and brought the front up two notches on my tundra 5100s. Here it is ready for the alignment. [

Lol funny you should post picks and talk about taking the running boards off. Getting ready to paint my 4runner and took the passenger side running board off and both my son and i agree it looks vetter without them !

Bled the brakes again. They were a real ***** this time. Installed axles and new wheels bearings prior obviously. Nightmare over. Then gingerly bolted on my new fn wheels.

Very happy with the finished product.

Test fitting my custom grill. Needs color match and grill material.

Its my take on the played out satoshi mod =P no offence

Its a poor mans one slat elford style grill for that jdm tyte look.

My lightforce 170s are in the way but you get the idea

I plan on making another if anyone is interested.

Also picked up these Rigid Ind. DOT fogs after ditching my 3k HID PIAA 510s (glare monster). Thinking about working on a product review for you guys soon.

They don't make cold air intakes for 96-98 4runners, so I made my own from a 03 Lexus IS300 from the junkyard. My 16yr old needed a spare tire and I took the intake. The intake is a INJEN technology brand. The IS300 had some goodies. It had VOLK racing rims 3, carbon fiber hood, dropped, tinted JDM badges, clear markers, etc. Well here is a picture of the intake. Enjoy!

Replaced my Throttle Position Sensor with an OEM part. Luckily for me it didn't completely failed on me over the last 6+ months I dragged ass on replacing it. It was actually very easy thanks to YouTube!

They don't make cold air intakes for 96-98 4runners, so I made my own from a 03 Lexus IS300 from the junkyard. My 16yr old needed a spare tire and I took the intake. The intake is a INJEN technology brand. The IS300 had some goodies. It had VOLK racing rims 3, carbon fiber hood, dropped, tinted JDM badges, clear markers, etc. Well here is a picture of the intake. I would of bought it if the 3 rims were in good shape. The lip of all 3 rims were curbed badly like he didn't know how to drive. The Carbon fiber hood would of been choice if it wasn't damaged. My son's IS300 is dropped, intake, headers, exhaust, ENKIE rims, and sounds. It just didn't have a spare tire.

it was probably curbed during a crash hence why its in the junkyard maybe? bet you anything they were Folks (fake Volks) and the guy really didnt know how to drive. gotta check for those lug holes and ebay stickers haha

No they were original VOLK rims. All JDM rims come with a manufacturer date on the rear of rim and these had it.

Nice man. I have always vaguely liked them, decided to pull the trigger on a built one recently. I plan to run 9s with it this summer if I can kick it in the ass hard enough off the line.

Just about finished all the body work on mine! Only a few small spots to prime and block really quick! If my wife and kids leave me alone later today i might be slinging paint on her!

I'd be finished all the body work by now, but decided to double-fist punch myself in the forehead with a big pair of visegrips earlier so i was forced to take a break, clean up all the blood in the bathroom and superglue a nice 3/4 long deep gash in my forehead....that did NOT feel good lol.
