Did a drain/fill on Power Steering, Front/Rear Diffs, and Transfer case.

Check out the drain plugs on those Diffs:


Looks like the PO did not service these items, which isn't surprising judging by the condition of a few other components. She's in better hands now.

What do you all think of that there sludginess? Cause for concern?

I don't see anything that that would concern me. Pretty much every magnetic drain plug I've ever pulled looked like that. Much better than seeing actual metal flakes!

I've been finally DRIVING it now that the motor swap is completed. Picked up an '04 Tacoma 3.4l, did all the seals it might need in the future, new clutch and fly wheel, new plugs and wires, new alternator, new starter, new upstream 02 sensor, cleaned up intake and sensors, fresh mobile synthetic oil and some fresh pink coolant. Really hoping it's good to go for at least another 100k.

Now i need to do rear axle seals, front end maintenance and LBJs, tires some time this year... It ever ends but I don't mind because I love this vehicle!

Battery totally took a crap in a dumpy part or Arizona. Managed to get to an Oreilleys and got a new one. Out of fear it was an alternator issue out came the volt meter. All is well....except for the crap battery from Oreilleys.

toyota 202 doesnt have clear. thats why black is such a hard color to work with. its going to take a while to level 202 so it depends on how dedicated u r. not sure if youre going to go at it with a buffer but make sure you level the paint in stages or else youll get super swirls in the sunlight! eeeek.

you can also hide the swirls with mud if you want.

Gotcha, learn something new everyday.

No pics but I took my roof rack off to clay, polish, and seal the roof along with touching up some spots. I also refinished 1 cross bar that had some surface rust on it. Came out pretty nicely with Semi Gloss black and then coated it with 2 coats of clear.

18 bags of mulch. Could have fit a few more probably, maybe 24. 906 springs held up good.

While I don't have any pictures, I once hauled about 1600 pounds of hardwood flooring home from the store for a friend. I'd highly recommend hauling that much, cause that sucker was sagging.
