What Did You Do To Your 3rd Gen Today?

I like the color as well. Twenty years ago Toyo offered a variety of paint colors and schemes. Today there is only white, black, red, blue, some shade of green, and the gold color. Oh, and the Pro burnt orange and sand...

Installed my Baja Rack!!! Removed my old cross bars, washed and waxed my roof while waiting for the UPS man

How old were your last set? In the quick research I did before ordering mine, at one point, both the bushings and balljoints were redesigned. I believe it was 12/14 or 12/15 I saw a time stamp on the new designed balljoints.

Yours held up good otherwise?

It fits so close because Baja Racks are made to fit your vehicle. The rack uses your existing roof rails, the mounts literally just slide right into the factory rails. Pretty cool eh?

I believe the update your talking about was the bushings. I purchased these April 2015 and installed shortly after. So about a year or less and one of them has few MM of play. Not really holding up well IMO.

I hope this newly designed ball joint will last a lot longer.

any issues installing the scion stereo? did you keep the amp? plug and play?
i am getting the same one.

Looks like you got it installed (sorry for the late response) so you know about the mounting brackets needing to be trimmed and stuff already. I didn't keep the original amp as I believe the pioneer has one built in. No issues,very plug and play. The only thing I forgot to do was expose the 2nd antenna port (its above the 1st one covered by the back plate) so right now i only have one antenna working; eventually i will plug the window-mounted one back in. That's it though. Hope you enjoy the new radio!

Changed original lbj.s inner and outer tie rods and cv axles alot easier than i thought.

Says it fits fj 07 and the questions say it wont fit a 4runner but i dont see why.

Amazon to the rescue.

Can't wait in install these much bigger brakes on the 4runner. Waiting on brake lines and refinishing the wheels they are behind. Less than 300 shipped with no cores to return. Can't beat that with a stick any day.

Assembled these....

and fitted the freshly assembled front diff.

Lifting a front diff in n your own on axle stands and a gravel driveway is really not fun!

Also partially built the rear callipers, but need an assistant as I need more hands... I also degreased all the handbrake parts that I'm reusing (most will be new)
