Roll cage just in the back? What make & does it translate to less flex when cornering? :banana:

Roll bar is out of a 87 4Runner, painted green to match the truck. I did this 'mod' purely to mount gear to. It has many pros and a few cons but it makes my truck unique. I really like it but it's not for all.
As for cornering I can not comment. I will say my truck does handle like a champ but that's probably due to the rear suspension set up.

Locked and geared finally!!! Went with a rear arb, mini compressor, and 4.88 gears. $2500 all said and done from ECGS. Well worth it imo. Can't wait to try the locker out this weekend at URE.

Alright, need some wisdom again. I took my drive belts off again this afternoon for a separate issue, and upon reassembly I still had this little guy.

I had felt so proud after my top end rebuild that I hadn't lost a single bolt or nut. No more :/

Regarding my missing piece ^^^ I believe it's something to do with either the PS pump or alternator, but if anyone knows for sure itd be appreciated.

I got all my roof rack and bumpers lights wired up and working, plus bolted my MR2 front seats in.

Getting closer to being finished!

What year mr2 did those come out of? Did you have to modify anything to make them fit?

I did this too, but yours looks nicer. Thanks for some inspiration of a later mod involving borrowing some of that as both a switch and your momentary would fit in that spot and you (I) can never have enough switches!

Had them laying upstairs in the garage for years, but think they are late 80s. I had to cut the legs off of both seats where they are tacked and rivited on the tracks and weld the 4runner legs on, then made a bracket to hold the sratbelt latch (1.5x 6" bar, one bolt hole on each end that gets sandwiched between the floor and the rear center seat mounting hole)

haha thanks! I found that the liftmaster 371LM circuit board fits perfectly behind the large switch blank. I'm using a 3D printer to print the blank but including a slot that allows for the circuit board to slide into so that it is all one unit. I'll attach my 3D model when I get home from work for better understanding. I'll let you know how it works out. My first prototype's geometry wasn't ideal for the tabs and they were too brittle. I'm making the corrections today.

Drivers side slider is ready to go on now. I welded my gussets and mounting plates on last night. Just need to clean the frame to mount it. Need to finish the passenger side now. Got more done on the rear bumper last night too. The bumper should be done by the end of the week and hopefully the sliders and body work too. We'll see...

I just all the lowers and had it aligned at the shop. still need to tackle the uppers. Do I need an alignment after doing the uppers?

My plan was to do them all at once but I ran into problems with the lowers and needed the car the next day. Now I'm just waiting on garage space and the use of a press again.

no unless it is way out. uppers don't have adjustment, they are fixed. you can have it rechecked if you choose to.

HAHA! About 1/3. I can do the whole procedure in my head start to finish. My back was aching like hell, but it sure was a great way to learn.

Last night started doing a Satoshi mod. Got the grille out without busting any clips. Cut the Aluminium perf sheet. Found some cracks in the grill though, going to mend that and bondo the gaps where I cut out the grill center. Bought a Dremel to help
