I put my scan gauge II in today. Ran it through the dash to keep the wire out of sight.
Also, wanted to report some humorous results. I do NOT condone doin this and realize it is NOT a fix!!!
My rear sway bar needs new link bushings due to the old ones being worn out. I plan on getting around to replacing them. It's an easy fix for sure. I just have not had the time to do it.
That said. . . The noise/rattling was getting old real fast. So I improvised and wrapped 2-3 rubber bands around the link between the bushing and washer.
To my surprise, it totally silenced all noise! It's been two weeks and the rubber bands are still holding strong! Lol
I know!!!! Before you say anything I already have the bushings on order! There getting replaced!

Thanks man, stock grille that I chopped up, do a Google search for "Satoshi mod" there's a lot of different flavours / variations, essentially you chop the horizontal fins out of your grille, then fill the big gaping hole with your choice of mesh. I chose perforated aluminium sheeting. Grabbed the Toyota emblem from eBay. Quick coat of paint, viola!

SS adjustable Panhard bar installed. Was able to center axle to within a 1/8th of an inch. Have alignment setup Tuesday to make it perfect.
Truck drives solid now. No more pulling on highway. Just wants to track straight now. Very happy.

Power Steering Fluid drain and refill (Mobil1 ATF) using turkey baster method but with a large syringe instead. Old fluid was completely black, 1.5 qt's later it's red like it should be.
Rear Differential + Transfer Case fluids drain and refill (Mobil1 75W90) using a hand pump that fits over qt bottles, makes life MUCH easier! Also replaced the crush washers.
Unfortunately only had 5QT's of gear oil and ended up using 4 which left only 1qt for front diff that requires 1.2qts... Oh well, more time to lube up the front diff hex bolts!

Worked on my gauge layout a bit. Design was solid, but the execution was crap. I was having issues with everything I tried to work on this weekend. Due to the new stereo I had to move my temp gauges and I was running out of space. I don't use my Air Conditioning enough so I filled one in and remounted my engine compartment and cabin temp gauges in it. I'm shocked these have held up this long. I got them off eBay for $5 and haven't had any issues.
Now I have my Tablet set up mainly for Torque Pro. My Android Stereo is for GPS and other things. I still have my volt meter down by my shifter, and these gauges are in place. I still need to get my extra coolant temp gauge mounted.

Bought this cargo rack at Homedepot friday for $15.49 on clearance! Cut it up and used one half to build my hatch ladder! Just waiting on the 3rd coat of bedliner to dry so i can mount it.
Tomorrow after work going to pick up some angle iron to use with the rest of the rack parts to build a motorcycle carrier for the back of my 4runner!

Changed out my power steering fluid using the turkey baster method. It started completely black, but didn't smell too bad. Should be better now!
Also still trying to get my ATF level dialed in after I drained/refilled that a few days ago. Seems like it's tough to nail that one down, but I figure close is probably close enough on the level there.
Also took it on some trails for the first time. No action shots, I was camping solo this weekend, but here's a couple poser shots I grabbed. (I took these on the roads to the trails, I was focused on not getting stuck in the mud while I was in the fun parts!)

I did the 231mm tundra brake upgrade this weekend! Way better then my warped slotted brembo rotors. Also in the past month or so I've done a 3" lift, new wheels and tires, e locker axle swap and wiring, and front diff swap to match the new rear axle. I painted up the frame and some other suspension components also! Looks like a new rig.

Bought another one.
Scrapped, wire brushed and sanded off about 10 lbs of rust from its under carriage, and applied first 2 coats of primer, and removed the water holding running boards. Searching threads for airbag information.. The 97 I bought hit a guardrail head on didn't destroy and sheet metal except bumper and fairing, Trying to find location of impact sensors..

Mounted & wired my CB and ran my coax cable. Waiting on my swr meter from Amazon to tune my antenna and need to paint my antenna mount and I'll be done.
