After years of looking and spending more time on Craigslists then...well, let's just say "other" sites- I found it!!

Got some front struts assemblies off of a 2002 TRD from Troybylt on the classifieds section. Just waiting to put them in until I get some rear coils and shocks.

How'd you make that rear storage.

Framing is 2x8's, topped with 7/16" plywood, built drawers w/ same plywood. Used long piano hinges for all 4 winged openings (2 sides and 1 front and 1 back). I found the drawer sliders at a yard sale earlier this year.

Have not listed all the things added along the way - but long way from when I bought it on 1-10-2016. And now at 225,000 and change from 205,000.

Talked to Richard Stubbs yesterday and ordered up some sliders. It'll be five days or so before they ship but I'm pretty stoked. We ended up BS'ing on the phone for about 20 minutes about non 4runner stuff. Really good dude with great turn times. I'm stoked.

How come your 99 base model doesn't have the base door molding?
Maybe the doors were replaced?
Are you sure it's not an SR5?

You are going to be one of the few with the 3.6l engine.

They didn't leave holes in the doors? I wouldn't care if mine disappeared.

replaced steering rack guide bushing with the updated version

Notice how the old bushing is a roller bearing style that a lot of play where the other is a cup of style you'll notice I used torque marks where I put it the first time and then backed it off because it I noticed a little tiny bit of binding while driving around the block in the city so far on the highway after a couple hundred miles it feels much more solid and it has eliminated any vibration I thought was due to the drive shaft or drive line it is also significantly increased the high-speed stability during a crosswind

Tool I made to tighten the cap with some stuff I had laying around the office it's 5/8 threaded rod and grab a couple nuts if you're at the hardware store
