Rolled 150K.
Build date 2/97.... 7500 miles a years on average..
My wife asked my how much longer I thought it would last. I told her, at this rate.. another 20 years..
Just ordered a leather driver seat bottom cover. Everything else looks great!
Hey you got a picture of that botton seat cover you are talking about and where did ungot it from?

This one: Toyota 4Runner leather Seat cover 1999-2000-2001-2002 L.H driverside bottom tan | eBay
I was quoted 350 by a shop just for the bottom in leather. This seemed like a reasonable alternative.
Here's a thread that has pictures of it. Looks really nice. I half contemplated getting the full front set, but the rest of the seats look great.

Installed DC Power Alternator and K&N Filter
Worked on my 98 4Runner:
DC Power Alternator installed - finally after waiting 4 weeks for it to arrive its now installed and my truck is back in action on the road. The alternator is huge and just barely fits. Had to unbolt the dip stick tube in order to swing it in and get the belt around the pulley wheel. Also glad I got their Big 3 copper cable upgrade as the post on the alternator is bigger than the stock alternator and the stock cables wouldnt have been able to attach. Also DC Power should really update the website to say 4-6 weeks and not 1-2 weeks.
K&N intake air filter upgrade is done - works great, install was straight forward.
Also replaced the PCV valve and grommet - I dont think this has ever been replaced and it was completely shot and the grommet was no good.
Looking into replacing my catalytic converter next (living in CA requires more smog requirements). Its original to the truck with 215K miles and I barely passed smog last time.
Also looking to replace and upgrade the shocks/coils and probably to a nice little lift.

I got mine back yesterday after 2 weeks apart. That was rough.

im split. i love how clean it is now, but with the blue i was able to spot you really quick haha
i did something i regret so bad, not even sure why i did it. i cut a hole in my hood and put an ac vent on it :/ it works great, its just sooo ghetto. oh also went to ocotillo had fun.

Rotated the tires, changed the oil and installed a set of daystar 1.5" spacers on top of my OME springs in the rear. Finally got that slight forward rake I've been after. Whenever I find a decent pair of LC coils I'll swap them in and get rid of the spacers. ALSO grabbed a pair of slightly used TC UCA's.

i wish i could say alcohol was the reason, im 14 months sober lol and now my rear axle is leaking so i cant do anything about the stupid hood until i fix the axle seal

Basically reducing heat. It's nice when you're off roading in a hot climate and you don't get much air intake due to low speeds.
