What Did You Do To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Started getting a hesitation/stutter accelerating from stops and while cruising on the highway, pulled the codes and saw a cyl #3 misfire. A set of NGK plugs and OEM wires and it runs great again.
Just for anyone who might be curious, once your plugs erode to a 0.085 or 0.09 inch gap, you'll start getting misfires (spec is 0.043 in). :redface:

Took 'er in for an alignment. They call me an hour later saying that it would be pointless to align it because the outer tie rod ends were loose... So I go take a look and holy s**t, the drivers side had about a quarter inch of play in the ball joint! Gotta wait till tuesday to get it fixed(OEM replacements of course). Driving will be a bit scary till then...

Received a new front turn signal pigtail, soldiered it on and now have all signals working.
Discovered the same cut wire problem with the side marker light, now I have to find a pigtail for that.
Got 2 spare keys made. And tried unsuccessfully to determine if I have wireless door fob capability. Looking like no, or I have a secondary issue with the locks...

broke it off while on some trails. i loved it until it left me lol ive seen someone mount it to the body mounts underneath, im going to try that next time.

I was gonna mount them to the hitch mount but the holes in the bumper were so easy...

Installed leather seats and heated seats. Custom made in grey with black stitching. I ordered extra material and made "pockets" for the two front seats that have a divider so you can put your phone or wallet on one side and a concealed hand gun in the other. Took me a day and a half to do all the work.
Next week I am wrapping the door panels and center armrest.

It passed it's MOT!
Rear brakes were perfect 50/50 balance and the test said the result could not register any better on that machine.
I also stopped off at Toyota for some more red coolant and topped it up.
Damn silicone hoses weeping.

Congrats!
It's been ages since my state (NJ) did those brake tests. I think those machines were all built in the 1930s, with these big glass tubes full of red liquid to show the results. They were always broken even before they stopped doing safety tests all together. I wonder what a modern one looks like.
