It's two motorised rollers in the ground, but the rest is all done by computer, the results are on the computer screen, and its controlled by a wired controller that the tester operates from your drivers seat.
I think it's a good test to have... you never really know if you brake balance is off unless you do an emergency stop... and on a lifted truck that's quite narrow anyway.. slewing to one side when trying to avoid something at speed is never the best time to find out!
Things like emissions tests I'm less a fan of.
Today IO did a 4 hour round trip to a race track for a track day, spectating, obviously...
Felt great to drive the truck again, now my company car is dead, and they have have given me a horrible, horrible VW Passat as temporary car.

Rigids are pretty good lights.... I almost bought some last summer.. I couldn't do a "G" a single bar light.... The one i was looking at did a fog pattern and a driving pattern as well.-with white and Yellow..

It does drone but it does not bother me at all. In fact I love it has a nice deep tone.
I can try to get a vid of me driving around later in the week.

Nice to be in a place where your only mods over several months are interior lights.
I'm waiting for dual cases and long travel. Won't that make this summers trip so much nicer?
Would long travel even work with manual hubs? Would you just need custom CV's?

I hope I never finish this build, it would be nice if the budget doesn't dictate my only mods are cheap ones.
I keep seeing that dual case/ low low range stuff, that would be sweet at times. The budget insists I behave myself so little stuff it is. That and I was in there anyway, having fried my dimmer switch, but that's another story.
You know what else would be awesome? Full floating rear axles.
You know, I don't know about long travel and manual hub cvs, have not looked into it at all. Do you need longer cvs with add?

That's a good response. For what it's worth I think your rig is in a really nice place. Other than random little interior stuff I don't know what I would do, however I imagine it's not hard to find things that you'd like to do.
For most long travel set ups you either use tundra cv's or custom ones. I've never seen one on a third gen with manual hubs, but I would imagine you've have to have some custom made ones to accept the manual hubs.

Satoshi, Addicted, RCI. Started yesterday, finished up today and then gave the rig a good wash. I did the front and mid skid from RCI. I drove up to Ft Collins and went to both AOR and RCI to pick this stuff up, meet the owners and see the shops. There is good power coating spot in Berthoud called Custom Coatings, who did the bumper for me.

And thanks!Oh yeah, forgot about that cv shaft length thing. I talked to a guy while in Colorado about his custom toyota parts long-travel set-up with Tundra bits, he said he was trying to get everything together enough to sell a kit...think he hangs out on Ih8mud.
Wonder if you could use the outer cv joint/ or really just the shaft that works with the manual hub paired to the required tundra inner and length?
Been talking to the guys over at CBI about ordering the 1st gen Tacoma MOAB 1.0 kit. I'm pretty sure that's the route in going and they're going to throw some 4runner brackets to mount it. Still gunna need some custom work most likely but we shall see. 4 week lead time and I'm hopefully pulling the trigger tomorrow on it.

Picked up a taco 4.10 Elocker axle computer, and switch, still gotta mod my axle for it but couldn't pass up the deal
Waiting on the Allpro Apex bumper.....
