Just got off the phone with the guys over at CBI and ordered my 1st Gen Tacoma MOAB 1.0 DIY bumper. Saved 65 by not getting the 4runner brackets and ordered some ditch light brackets with it instead.

I noticed I blew out a shock. Lower mount of the rear Bilstein 5100 gave out. Not sure how long I was driving around with it blown before I noticed. Could have cost me a tire. I used a new adapter from Procomp for the top mount.

Replaced a portion of the rear wiper blade arm that was officially the shabbiest part on the whole car. Before and after pic shows just how bad salt water is for your parts (PO was a surfer chick who kept surfboards on the roof, and apparently didn't believe in washing the car afterwards). Edit: Part #: 85247-35010

Finally got my OTRE's replaced and the wheels aligned . Now I can drive without being nervous lol

Before and after ome 906 in the rear and 880's front with bilstein hd/4600's.

Shredded the top of strut getting it off and had to use a die and new 3/8 nut, only other thing is it's pulling a little right but most likely a tire issue.

I followed the guidance on youtube, "Speedy's Garage" 4 runner lift. Assure you get the 5100 rear shocks for the 4runner from Wheeler's, who has the correct bushing size for 4runner.

my inner tie rod was that bad, got it replaced and now i feel way better also. scared the bejesus out of me when i saw it lol

When I got my 3rd gen that was like the first part I replaced. Wonder why those get so nasty looking. Mine had lived its whole life in AZ and UT.

I received a box of parts from Camelback Toyota for my valve cover job along with a few radiator top and bottom hoses, and spark plugs. Also got my NGK wire set.

I plan to order my TB kit and new radiator in the not so distant future.

But, I DID order my Hella Super Tone horns. My horns on my 02 have started to go, perhaps just one of the horns is not responding. Anyway, I am tired of being polite when drivers veer into my lane only to seemingly give them a curious toot with my tame horn. I was thinking about a more bassy truck horn, but I think this paint peeling annoyingly high frequency from the Hellas cuts through the din of whatever garbage that happens to be floating in the subconscious that prevents them from driving like it is important. And when you get down to it, THAT is what a horn is for. Communication... As in, "Wake the %*&@ up moron!".
