Replaced a portion of the rear wiper blade arm that was officially the shabbiest part on the whole car. Before and after pic shows just how bad salt water is for your parts (PO was a surfer chick who kept surfboards on the roof, and apparently didn't believe in washing the car afterwards). Edit: Part #: 85247-35010

geez, that looks terrible. I need the bolt cover on mine, but don't want to pay the $15 bucks

New 4Runner owner here. Did my first caliper/rotor replacement yesterday and was pretty proud of my paracord solution to hanging the caliper so as not to have too much tension on the brake line. What are some other ways y'all have done this?

I have a hook that I made out of hardened wire that I use on all of my vehicles to do that

bungee cords work okay for me. That or put the caliper in an upside down bucket.

I think it's important to note that there isn't rust in your front end, just good old red Utah dirt.

Wire coat hanger works for me.

And as to what I did today I bought lots of brake lines and hardware plus some tundra brakes for my 99. Gonna get all new hard lines in and then order up the flex lines I want. After that it's time to fix some leaking axle seals......Yay!

Just completed a 4,444.4 mile road trip from Sedona,AZ to St. Louis to Savannah and back to Arizona. Spent $490 in gas and average 19.5mpg.

Rig is currently at the Yonaka Motorsports shop being used as a donor to prototype an aftermarket catback system for non-cali 3rd gens (1996-2002).

My OEM exhaust is in pretty bad shape, so the guys are gonna patch it up for me until the first production run comes in.

If they follow suit as they did with their Ridgeline and CRV catbacks, the finished product should also be available in Powder Coated Flat Black color.

Removed my hood struts and updated my thread: struts were pushing hood upwards at middle and hinge when closed

New shoes today. Tires are a tad noisy but the radio gets louder. Hopefully will work better than P rated street tires

I pulled out the injectors to give them an ultrasonic bath, then test them since my '98 has a misfire on two cylinders. I also pulled the valve covers to clean and powder coat along with the plenum. I'll put pics in my build thread once I have enough replies to actually start one!
