I Changed the Evap purge solenoid on the charcoal canister yesterday, then today changed the steering rack bushings with the Energy suspension kit. I couldn't believe how bad the old bushings were, it's amazing that the runner even went straight at all on the road.
Used a buddy's scan tool and checked the stored CEL codes- I found an interesting one that said it had a 'reverse vapor flow from the EVAP system'. I know that all of the lines got connected back exactly the way that they came apart ( plus they basically can only go back on one way because of different diameters, lengths and bends) so I cleared all of the code and drove home. So far, nothing has come back in the form of a CEL. I'm hoping it stays like that !

I am going to do a basic write up on it pretty soon. I have a trip on the High Water Trail in Arkansas later this week so it may or may not be this week. I have a few other ideas for a 2.0 version that I am going to post up as well; kind of an Expo Hitch Rack idea thread. I learned the hard way that traditional hitch racks are not the greatest for expo camping out at Big Bend Ranch State Park when I plowed my buddy's hitch rack into the ground on some of the trails.

Played with some plasti dip to give my tired old wheels a fresh new look. Also body color matched the ugly orange corner lenses until I stop being cheap and actually buy a set of clear ones.

Excellent. Can't wait to see those details! Thank you. My hitch rack was pretty low and scraping as well, limiting my off-road-ability finding dispersed camping spots. I just ended up welding a few inches of height to just barely clear the hatch, but I've been stuck on the idea of having it on a slide to clear hatch and maybe swing arm some.
Looking forward to that thread!
