Put in new Energy Suspension steering rack bushings:



Don't really expect much of an improvement, since the old ones looked and felt pretty good:



More importantly, I finally found what was rattling for the last couple of days - so simple yet so annoying! Happy day, 5 minutes work and the rattle is gone!!

Painted the rear hitch. Now I can't help but notice how crappy the chrome bumper is .

I had a 5” deck plate laying around so i went for it. Came out great using sensor safe RTV and self tappers. . My best one yet.

Painted ELocker, installed big old vise in shop, and removed those lca bushings. The bushings weren’t that bad, I followed timmah’s tool video. I soaked in pb for 2 days, bottle jack and map gas. Maybe 10 minutes per bushing.
Anyone who’s upgraded to an ELocker, did y’all replace rear control arms or bushings? I’d feed back. Thanks

Can't comment on the rear UCA and LCA bushings. Been running [MENTION=98153]MStudt[/MENTION] control arms. But just visually check your bushings, and maybe put a big screw driver and try to move it. And check for any issues. If not just throw it back in there.

OME lift: 90004 front shocks, 881 front springs, 60073 rear shocks, 890 rear springs.

Installed my billies w stock 4WD coils

removed and replaced my steering rack bushings with the Energy Suspension steering rack bushings. Feels a lot better driving per all 3 of my stock bushings were toast. the middle mount was almost gone completely. Was pretty easy on a rack and using a huge C press tool my buddy had at work, most time consuming portion was just cleaning everything off and lubricating.

I think next up will be the taco antenna mod and then some tundra brakes up front and new shoes/drums in the rear. then start thinking about mild or oem ride height suspension update.

Removed the chrome "flares" to prep for paint and to inspect the paint underneath. And gave her a bath...
