My intake air temperature is rarely the same as the outside ambient temperature. It was 56 degrees outside when my intake air temperature was measured at 98 degrees in the screenshot below

lifted the wife's Runner.
Billies with tundra coils on the 3rd perch
8 warps with black LC shocks
Still need to install PCK and get an alignment
then get some larger tires.

Cool. Now you have to fill out those empty wheel wells with some jumbo meats. Your wife would likely agree that size matters!:eyebrows:

Jacked it up, removed the rear wheels and rear disks and callipers and stripped down the handbrake mechanism.

Saw this on the road today
Driver said it's the second time it's happened on that side and that Toyota fixed it about a year ago. Lower ball joint stud snapped off, upper ball joint torn out of its socket. 400000 miles on the vehicle but the LBJ was replaced a year ago
This is a good reminder to do your proactive maintenance and test your ball joints anytime you do suspension work

Just took the running boards off today. Pretty easy "mod" but happy nonetheless.

Replaced a year ago and failed again is a red flag to me that it wasn't done properly.

Just received by Springs, Eimkeith Panhard kit, trans cooler. just waiting on my shocks and placing an order for swaybar/enlinks bushings as well as hit the junkyard for some 2nd gen 4R rear endlinks. Also picked up some 2016 wheels and tires for $225. Wife just picked them up.

Rubbed down and surface treated the inner brake sure area for painting, also cleaned up the legs and surface prepped my "new" (straight) running boards.
POR15 tomorrow, then let them go really hard for a couple of days before reassembling. I don't want the brake shoes to bind on paint!

Finally got the grill painted and put back on. Now I need to save my pennies for some halo lights and low profile bumper. I have a onedrive folder with videos of the raptor liner paint job I did a few days ago if anyone wants the link let me know.

If a ball joint is going to fail, it will fail, doesn’t matter what brand it is.

Finally got under the truck and took a look for loose parts. After New year's in ocotillo we beat her up a little to much!
We found:
1.Missing trans cross member bolts (2 missing; 2 loose)
2. Completely Loose sway bar bushing mounts
3. Broken Exhaust Muffler hanger
4. Blown out sway bar link bushings
5. Worn driveahaft U joints (front & rear)
6. Loose exaust heat shields
7. Loose gas tank skid plate
8. Grill almost fell out was hanging on by 2 of the 6 tabs
9. Worn steering rack bushings
10. Damaged passenger side brake caliper hard line
11. Driver's side shock blown (oil leaking ect)
12. Worn passenger side lower BJ
We replaced all missing bolts and tightened everything in sight. It's almost like the whole truck can be fixed with a 14mm, 12mm or a 10mm. We effectively silenced all the rattles, and got her back to normal. The metals banging together from ocotillo was so bad we thought we were gonna loose a wheel lol! Not the case now, just started ordering parts with my gift card from Christmas. Budget build begins!
