Replaced my battery. Had a couple slow starts yesterday on the way to a wedding and had it tested today and it failed. Picked up a group 24F Ever Start Maxx from Walmart.

Not much, since the front bumper was a little rough already. Plus the fence was that plastic crap that shatters when the temps drop below freezing. $100 worth of new fence makes it righteous again.

Got tired of looking at a non shiny winter 4runner. So I took it for a wash... In the rain...:bathbaby: I might have just said screw it till the weather cleared up a bit, but who knows when that is? That AND I wanted to give the underside a good hosing down. I have been driving in areas of Washington that have been using salt on the roadways. I work in Seattle and I know that they started using salt years ago, but I keep forgetting to hose her down. There is a bit of surface rust here and there. Nothing that if I showed would get much sympathy, so I wont bother. lol.
Installed some new Bosch Icon wiper blades... In the rain also... Mine were starting to just smear water over the windshield. Much better now.

I bought the exact same battery on 1/1/2013...still going strong after 5 yrs.:wink2:

That’s reassuring! Seemed like the best battery at that price point. Since these aren’t maintenance free agm batteries, have you had to add any distilled water to the cells? I’ve never been good at keeping an eye on that with my batteries if I’m being honest!

One morning I opened the door to the house and the snow was piled up almost to my waist after two heavy snow days. Either 98 or 99. Shut the door and went back to drinking with the lush I was cohabitating with at the time.
Grayson has been brutal here for the East Coast.

when you get snow storms like that, do you still have to go to work? is it common to not go to work in conditions like that? being in AZ, it's all year round work... would be nice to have a snow day.

LMAO. I'm sitting here fuming cause I just got a day off cause of snow. I work as a carpenter in an area that gets a lot of snow. We're still siding a house. In January. By now I should be doing finish work inside. There's no way I should have had this day off. Oh well.
So now I get to take my frustration out by going wheeling. First world problems. lol

I worked for the Velo News as a writer out there, so I had leeway to say I was working when I may not have been. The lush, however, was a bakery manager so she would put on snowshoes and park her Grand Am about 1/2 mile away in order not to get snowed in. Or if she knew inclimate weather was coming, she would crash in one of the apartments above the bakery.
On the East Coast people can go into panic mode. Sometimes it is just hype but this storm has been different. I am working from home today, lots of ice on the road and don’t want to take out another fence or something much more costly today.

Growing up in New York as a kid we used to pray for snow days, now as an adult living in California I still pray for snow days except I have to drive a few hundred miles to get them
