Congrats to both of you on the new ARB compressors. Yeah... wiring it up was not the most fun I've had. I crossed over in the engine bay along the firewall, then ran through and down passenger side door jams.. ugh.. There sure isn't a lot of room for that stuff. In retrospect, I could have removed the washer fluid line for the rear wiper. I never use the rear wiper anyway. That might have given me a bit more room to work with.

I'm not too sure really. I haven't given it the off-road test. But I always have stuff clanking in the back like a tool box or a jack or something metal usually. One thing I noticed is I need some more of those plastic clips for the side panels. May just go to a pick a part and take a whole inside molding off everything cause if I could do a few things different I would.

Replaced the "equalization" vent in my truck.

Found a hard piece of rolled-up plastic under the left side of the rear bumper, and figured this had to be the flap.

I like that. The older 4runners have a different style vent. Doesn’t have the hole for the wires. Which would be useful for me for the cb wire. Another issue is. When you run a aftermarket rear bumper. That doesn’t fully enclose that area. The rubber piece flops and deforms.

refreshed front suspension - out with the SAWs and ATS uppers, in with Camburgs and Radflos:

all this ultimately led to new swaybar bushings, OEM lower arms, OEM lower ball joints, OEM tie rod ends, steering rack bushing, steering rack boots, ........

She's good as new now.

Compressor Mounting

It is going to be mounted under the hood on the passenger side behind the airbox, at least that is the gameplan right now...going to have to custom fab a bracket and wire to my Switchpros. I'll post some photos when she is done!

I did both of my front wheel bearings about 2-3 months ago. Koyo bearing with OEM seals. Found out today that both wheel bearings are shot. And have play. WTF. Went off roading like 2 times.

Did the Tundra Brake Upgrade on my 2001 SR5. Went with the 199mm 13WE calipers due to 16” TRD PRO wheels. Definitely happy with them still.

When did you order that Shrockworks bumper? It looks like it came with the round fog/off-road light holes rather than the new square ones they show on their website now.
I’m a HUGE fan of their original/old style with round openings but I just don’t like the new square ones at all and I think it’s going to steer me away from that bumper altogether unfortunately.

YES! I like the old style too! When I ordered, about 14 months ago, they still had round buckets left and built mine with them.

They'll do the same for you, assuming there is still an inventory of buckets still in stock.
