Body work today! Finally got rid of that damaged/rusted/bondo'd fender, replacing it with a junkyard unit. Came out pretty good!
Still need to paint the flares, but that's a battle for another day.
Also started a way-too-complicated project of adding some digital gauges to the "passenger" space on my dash. The plan is to cut out the "passenger" section, put in a piece of dark plastic behind it, then mount a digital voltmeter and outside temp gauge behind them.
Here are some teasers:

Cut to shape:
Installed:
Now to fabricate a mounting bracket for the digital meters.

I went ahead and changed out the spark plugs(OEM) ,wires(NGK), pcv valve and grommet ,and changed out a boot from a coil. The boot had electrical tape wrapped around it not sure why? It was only like 5 bucks to replace ...Pretty much the reason why I changed it.
Pcv valve and grommet was a PITA to remove I seriously think it’s never been changed out since new... I should’ve read on the forum for “technique” would’ve saved me a headache and an hour of fishing for grommet pieces.

Fixed my key fob issues just had to reprogram it. On the plus side now I have two key fobs and I can return the junction box I got and get the $250 back! But now I have to put that towards my rack an pinion...

Nice! You'll enjoy it! It was a fun project myself. I'm still deciding what horns I want. may just add a train horn for fun. Just don't know where I'd put it haha

Got my cv boot fixed and suspension worked on. Took my truck to get aligned at Firestone and this happens. I am not sure who it was or is to blame but I am just in awe why or how could this happen? Literally less than 50 miles on the work? I almost flipped coming off the off ramp. Anybody have any ideas how this could happen?

I noticed I put my post in the wrong “What did you do today” thread!!! My bad folks! I do love me a good lookin’ 3rd gen! So many options for car camping and storage in those things!!! Not to mention how hard you can beat on em and they keep rollin’ down the trail!!!!!!!
