I bet those 890's where hating life with the RTT, tire, and hi-lift back there. Welcome to the 861 club.

BTW, the Ray 10 is one great looking wheel.

Thank you! They're definitely my favorite wheel.

It's hard to put into words how bad the rear end felt after the bumper, wheel, and hi lift. The 861's made a world of difference!

Fun Stuff

Took the wife and dogs on some trails in the Colorado mountains north of Woodland Park. Then home for a relaxing afternoon consisting of lower ball joints. Good day all in all. Did notice a tear in the CV boot though which I will need to monitor and replace in the near future.

Parts: TYC assemblies, Morimoto D2S 4.0, Panamera switchback shrouds, 70mm switchback halos

Almost there. Just need to fine tune the aim and wire the halos/DRLs to the running lights and turn signals. No more crappy factory headlights for me.

Yes. Ended up replacing the cluster and the main DRL relay/module under the steering column.

Yesterday. Installed the new swaybar links in the ‘97. Feels a bit tighter in the corners again.

Ordered a new power steering pump. (Next weekend’s project: clean out the reservoir and install the new pump, in-line filter and belts.)

Made it to a milestone (to be honest though less than 500 of those miles are mine). To celebrate, I tore the entire dash apart for dash lights and to install a CB and trans temp gauge (following Timmy's lead )

I don't know what we are looking at out of the ordinary here...

I'm thinking somebody really cranked on that tie rod. Wrench, pry bar or whatever they used. Should have torched the nut to loosen it up when frozen. Looking like the aligner person almost created a catastrophe.

Yep, well taken care of to this point, will be following suit. Won't see a lot of miles from here on so it will probably be over maintained if there is such a thing. Working my way through replacing/upgrading things (new radiator, external trans cooler, fuel filter, etc). Fuel economy sucks (my F350 diesel gets better) so O2's are on the way. Then figure out what's next...

UBJs and replaced my original Hatch Struts with some StrongArm Hatch units. One job was a lot easier and quicker than the other.

Installed a Champion all aluminum 3 row radiator. 2 gallons of coolant in and it wants more ( shoulda foreseen since its obviously bigger) so off to the store to buy more red stuff / distilled water.
