Wow, you guys up north of us got way more snow. We only got maybe 3” of snow this morning, and it melted off by probably 2pm.

It was a blast. Got to do some doughnuts. Didn't have a tripod, so no video.

Tried to take my dog on a run on a trail and my car came off the snowmobile trail I was on so my front left tire was spinning free with no base to hit and my front diff was sitting on ice as were my back 2 tires
So I got good and stuck in the 3.5 feet of powder on the ground
Had to call a tow truck (thankfully I was 50 feet of the street)
So I have officially decided today that my next purchases will be an off road base plate for my hi lift, wheel lift straps and max trax

Installed a Fumoto valve on my 4Runner. For those of you wondering if the F103N valve sticks out from the opening in the factory skid plate, it does not.

Looking forward to even easier no mess oil changes going forward.

My only word of caution is that the Fumoto valve is made from soft material. I managed to round off the corners on the bolt portion while installing it and I was trying to be careful.

I have had mine on for over 6 years, no issues at all. Makes oil changes a piece of cake.

Oh okay I’ve heard of Darrington, never been there myself. I only usually travel north up to the Seattle/Everett area for shows. That’s awesome though man. Might try my luck up in Grisdale (Olympic National Forest) next time it snows. It usually gets way more snow out there then we do here in town.

Also, how are those escaper buddies? I’ve been contemplating on getting a set, just in case I end up getting stuck later down the road.

I installed a new driver front hub assembly. Getting the old rotor off was a PIA.

Now however my truck is pulling to the opposite side when I hit the brakes. But tracks relatively straight driving.

I felt I cleaned off the rotor w brake cleaner really well before reinstalling. It was pretty messy once we hammered it off. Caliper clamped on tight. Pins greased and moving.

Kink Line, stuck caliper, or need new rotor??

After I got the battery done my airbag light came on and none of my auto up or down window controls are working. Anyone have any ideas?

You will have to re-sync you auto window feature on your windows after replacing or unhooking the battery. Google the process.

How was the install on the body lift? Any issues? Brand? I've been considering it myself.

I got it from fat Pat's, I think he's a T4R member. The worst part was doing the steering extension.

replaced the gooey rear liftgate switch

For 30 bucks on Amazon and about 30 minutes of my time I replaced the switch that had gotten so gooey that you couldnt open the gate from the outside anymore. You can buy just the rubber cover for 15 dollars and clean the old switch or get the whole shebang like I did.

Popping off the interior hatch cover is easy, then its about four bolts to remove the latch assembly. Even if you just want to do the rubber cover its worth taking the switch out of the hatch from the inside rather than unscrewing the cover from the outside since you can unplug the switch that way to inspect and clean it properly. But hey for 30 bucks just throw in a new switch and say goodbye to that sticky mess ��

I'm pretty sure I damaged my spiral cable doing my lift which would explain the airbag light.

Yeah, planning on it today. The weird thing is that I had my battery disconnected a bunch when I was wiring my lights and this is the first time I’ve had the auto function stop working.

Do you have part number? Mine is not gone, but it sounds like a good part replacement, since my hatch gets a lot of use. It's a big inconvenience when the rear hatch does not open or close.

Vinyl wrapped my faded flares today. First time attempting a wrap. Next time I'll pull the fenders. :dammit: Looks good from far, but far from good :frog: Still 100% better. Color matches perfect.
