Thats where I would put it too. I was gonna stick my levogauge there but i mounted it next to the wheel. That thing is sweet and all, but I can't justify 100 bucks on a tippy meter, i'm rather put that toward fixing my body damage... and buying PS fluid which I'm gonna change Friday in light of your pump's failure...

When I was installing my CB yesterday, figured out why my 115v AC plug didn't work, dumbass me didn't reconnect the harness after removing the console. +1 for being able to run a dremel off my console. I wonder if it can power a fullsize electric grinder...

3 gallon reserve I believe. I usually get 60 past 0 when I drive nicely, getting my typical 20mpg, but I forgot to factor in cold morning startups with the remote starter and also someone pissed me off on the highway leaving work on my way to the gas station.... BRRRRAAAAAAAAPPP*sputter sputter*RAAAAPPPPP*sputter* and tach drops to 500 rpm and starts lugging. Pull into breakdown lane and it runs ok again. I started cruising towards the exit (only a half mile away) and it does well until I crest the hill of the ramp (it was downhill thank God). It died because there was a line at the rotary and I couldn't keep speed. I got within a quarter mile of the gas station I originally intended to go to though! Only drove 36 miles after 0 because of the brappage and the remote starting and idling.

Moral of the story: even if the b*tch won't let you merge, you don't need to pass her at WOT as a FU. I coulda made it to the gas station or within pushing range. Lol.

you'll short the breaker running a grinder. it can only handle so many amps

Honestly, I would have paid. I feel this will be a great investment. The inclinometer apps suck because they aren't reliable, and also, I like using my phone to take pictures! I can't take pictures if I move the phone and ruin my calibration. Having a dedicated unit is awesome, plus I'm gonna mount this in a really cool way, just wait and see

When I installed my air tank, I needed to get a dremel and some other corded tools out there and I ran a 50' extension cord (read: christmas lights) out my window on the second floor. Try carrying your 75 lb floor jack up and down 3 flights of stairs... I've just started leaving it in the truck. ANd, everytime you're working on your truck some sassy women being like "OH I bet it's da alternata!!!" or some cop being like "what's wrong? dead battery?" or like "You can't do that in the street" or working on your truck in an abandoned parking lot down the road because that's the best space nearby. Or being afraid to move your truck because you can't ever find a parking space before 5PM because every cheap a hole likes to park in your neighborhood because it's free. Or almost having your legs run over every time you hop underneath ebcause you can't see the cars whizzing by you.

Hopefully I don't have to repaint the radio surround.... Dremels and I don't get along often. The only time we work ok together is when I'm working on my spacers.

thats where it was DC, I have a few friends there but they're all girls so unfortunately no one i can say that has a shop. hopefully you'll have better luck there with a place to work anyway. atleast if you wind up in a parking garage you won't have to worry about getting run over
