haha I did that today too. but the Snow's still too soft so it kinda sunk in.

Yeah, I ran at this fresh pile last week at 10mph and didn't get too far... Bumper took the brunt of the impact and I only got like 3' up the pile lol

Added the [MENTION=165]momo.75[/MENTION] custom Hilux surf grill. Mesh and badge are held in with zip ties right now, just testing. I do like the look, I need to plasti-dip the lower grey valance and do some adjusting. Not sure if this is a temporary grill or a permanent yet. I do have another buyer [MENTION=25229]oriojasjr[/MENTION] if i decide to move on from this grill.
Added the http://www.toyota-4runner.org/1317708-post63.html [MENTION=67365]Whitebeauty[/MENTION] reverse LED lights, they are great!
Wired the Eagle Eye LED lights http://www.toyota-4runner.org/1317715-post64.html. Just need to finish my brackets and install. Each one of the 4 lights on each door will light up when that door opens. They are wired with the light inside each door. Very easy to find the wires in the kick panel. I wanted each door light to work instead of both like the factory step lights would.
Also planning on adding 2 more of the eagle eyes somewhere else. Got this idea from Morris as well. Thanks man.
I also have some T4R.org stickers to install, just another "Round tuit"

That looks GREAT, Sparky! My previous 4Runner was white, and I loved it- made little mods really stand out. Funny thing- I showed the Mrs your truck and she says "oh I like that model 4Runner in white". Aaaaaaaand we just bought the silver one WHY, THEN!?!? :argue:

used my day off to go to the gym, and while i was there i ran into an old friend from high school who asked me a couple questions about lifting a 4runner, and then offered some advice on lifting vehicles, these are direct quotes
- "yeah the most expensive kind of lift is a body lift"
- "suspension lift? thats pretty old school"
- "the best kind of lift is those full lift kits from like BDS or Skyjacker, not suspension lifts"
- "you won't get ground clearance with just bigger tires, you need bigger wheels too, id say 18s or bigger minimum"
- "id put a body lift on my truck but I'm not that good with shocks and springs and stuff like that"
i think i need to find a new gym... reminded me an awful lot of this video:

It looks much better on yours than it did on mine. The white and black work good together. I think it was the black of the grill, white of the badge and the gray of my cladding that wasn't working together.

Wait, are the Hilux Surf grilles easier to mod than our regular old 2003-2005 grilles? I really like the look!
