What did you do with your 4runner today?

Myself, I installed a used $40 homelink console from a Camry. Gray is too light, but doesn't look bad and works great. 10 minutes and I'm very happy that it's not always-on, meaning someone can't break into the 4R and open the garage.
 
The inspection report was initialed by JC. The invoice has Jerrod Corely as the tech. The service Advisors name is Michael.

The tech that did the work may not be the same person that came out and looked at my suspension, I assumed it was because he talked like he knew about lifted suspensions.

You can use my name, I recommended them to you. If they don't stand by their work I will stop recommending them.

I think my alignment numbers look pretty good. Keep in mind that I have different upper control arms.

I called and made a complaint to customer service and the manager from the Chapel Hills stored called me this morning and said they are having the machine calibrated today, so bring it back in.

Do you also remember the numbers by chance so I can argue with them that it can be done, I won't mention your name, just how my friend with a lift higher than mine and your store put his in spec so why can't you do mine??

The EBC rotors and pads I installed last June have been wearing strange so I contacted EBC about it. They are sending out replacement rotors and pads. Glad they stand behind their product. No issues with trying to blame me and no excuses.

In the process of getting some pictures to send to the tech, I cross threaded a stud on the wheel spacer. So today I got it replaced.

Because my battery failed yesterday and u didn't think about it...lol I'll be running dual optimal soon so I'll have plenty of juice. All I knew was I have had good luck with optima in the past, 3 year free replacement, and $50 off. Also come June my 4R won't be a daily driver and I wanted a battery that could sit for a long time and still crank. I could always have the Yellow top be the back battery and have the die hard be the main if it's that much better.

Haha yes! It's an Energy suspension battery tie down now. The rubber bushings that came with the tie down were trashed and these were laying around. They actually work great and the battery doesn't move at all.
 
Yesterday....

Used some Scratch X to remove a few scratches and clean up the mess left behind by my old Sirius antenna.

Removed rear passenger grab handle and installed blanks courtsey of HokieRunner. That should cut down on me banging my 3yr old's head when I put her in her car seat. :)

Thanks guys. Advanced doesn't have that battery on their online store so I didn't bother with it. I think the D35 will be fine for my purposed now especially if I run duals in the future.
 
Had a busy weekend. eliminated the tire pressure warning light, wired the vsc to a on off switch in the dash, and blacked out the headlights. try to post pics soon.

I have the D35 in my Acura, it's also a great battery, my last one lasted me like 8 or 9 years
