hate to ask a stupid question but what bulb size are the dash switches. got a DAC and hazard switch from a junk yard and both of them have blown bulbs. also might look into doing led as well

Hey momo, thanks! I didn't do either the speedo cluster or the doors. I can live with the doors but I might do the speedo cluster. I plan on some CoverKing black and gray seat covers so maybe the doors will blend in.
FWIW, I think if I have to swap out the stereo at some point I'll redo it in satin. The gloss can look like the ghastly silver in the right light!

Went on my first official trail run today!! After being scared for so long, I think I'm hooked now. It was so much fun and the lake at the end was so beautiful.

I thought I cleared this rock with my drivers side tire but I ended up sitting on it, just a few scratches as proof of a good time.

Have you checked out Clazzio seat covers? Those things are awesome.

I was worried sick! LUCKILY I was with a crack team of off road engineers, so we all looked at ALL the possibilities, and made a decision of how to go about recovering my truck. After some clever rigging and Hilift work, my truck got out relatively unharmed. I did squash my drivers side exhaust pipe (where it crosses under the t-case/trans)




They do! I want a full belly skid setup. I'm fighting sheered bolts at the moment and I can't seem to get a break. I broke off an easy out inside of one of the bolts I drilled out... I can't win... New England loctite at it's worst

If you have or can borrow a impact drill and use the easy out or bolt removal bit it will work like a champ I have gotten out lots of frozen bolts with my dewalt 1/4" impact drill

Yeah I snapped off an easy out in one of the bolts I drilled out just using my handle. I want to use an air hammer

Herculiner Bed Liner does not come off your skin. It laughs in the face of gojo, lava soap, dawn, rubbing alcohol, some other stuff I think is for cleaning nasa equipment and scrubbing.

If it makes you feel any better Im in the same boat haha, I requested that RCI notch my cross member to accept the sliders I have and they werent...and then I broke the exhaust hanger bolt and turned back lol. Only installed the radiator/engine skid today.

Also tried out my new auto lock grease gun fitting...absolutely awsome. Last time I couldn't lock onto to some of the fittings on the driveshaft and had to use pliers and constant hand cleaning to tighten the fitting, not press a button and push and locked.

I still feel pretty good having the front on, at least something got done. I am hoping to get away with not having to buy a tap and die set here...

Also the guy who was recommended to me to chop my body mount is not coming through, anyone cut it and NOT cover with a plate? I'm thinking I'll just go buy a sawzall, 20 blades, and get it done.

Mimes not capped. No issues, use a cutting wheel a lot easier.

Lots of guys with tacos i know who dont plate them

Not today but yesterday, I finally figured out what the stupid clanking was in my rear end.. :rofl: For a month or so, I've been trying to hear it as it was a metal to metal type of sound. Well, low and behold, it was the exhaust hitting on the hitch. :suspicious: so I wiggled the hanger quite a bit to try and separate it from the hitch and that did the trick.

Do you guys know of any company which has aftermarket hangers? Like the ones I've purchased in the past for my Subaru/Mitsu. aka polyurethane exhaust hangers?
