What did you do with your 4runner today?

I really need to do this, the reverse lights on my truck are almost useless. More details?

There's a write up on tacoma world on how to do it with pictures. But long story short, by some 886 light bulbs from auto zone or wherever. Very carefully cut the bulb contacts with a dremel (I used diagonal cutters but it was risky) where the bulb meets the holder.

Pull out your standard reverse light bulbs and plug in the modified 886 bulbs.

I hate front license plates. All of my cars have had them, but not one of them was in factory placement. My T4R joins them in delinquency. Lol.

I love toys, especially those that look factory. The TPMS sensor in our rigs kinda suck b/c it doesn't tell ya which tire is loosing air. Anyway, I'm almost 95% sure I'm going to dive in and buy one for my Honda (with outside sensors, not the internal ones where you would have to remove the tire).



You can find them on fleabay and aliexpress.

I've searched for days, but can't find an exact "button" size for the 4th gen. These would be perfect for the 5th gen buttons. Going to see if my Honda buttons match (they seem very close). I'll report back.

That's a high quality product right there... My TRD logo fogged up after 6 or 8 months then 2 of the stickers fell off. I ripped the other two off so now I just have shiny silver valve stem caps.

I drained and refilled the diffs and t-case with Mobil1 75w-90.

Just made a paypal payment for a complete set of take-off FJ springs and shocks.

Agreed... None of my faux-TRD eBay trinkets have been able to stand the test of time.

Changed the spark plugs and replaced my air filter. Turns out the gasket on the air filter was pinched and actually fused together from the heat. Hopefully it didnt let too much dirt in before I replaced it.

Hauled home a new compound miter saw and stand. Home Depot has an insane deal on this and the associate there basically combined the last 2 promos for a double discount. If anyone in the fairfax area is in the market for a saw - let me know and I'll give you the guys name and location.

I had a set of those on my 03 sport, and ended up having to replace all my valvestems because they rusted/siezed onto the threads and wouldn't come off to fill my tires. Be careful with those suckers

I got some IPCW LED Taillights in yesterday and got them installed last night. These things are great!




I also got some HID low beams and fog lights in and installed, but no pics yet.

skids were starting to rust from trails so i gave them some paint.
not putting them on the truck till tomorrow but at least i will not have to look at the rust anymore when changing the oil

Thanks to [MENTION=50591]gaterose[/MENTION] I put the fj aux light switch into one of the blanks. Eventually I'll have the other two in use but for now I had to get rid of that ugly rigid switch.
