Going tomorrow AM to have my 265/65/17's mounted to my spare rims. Then the suspension swap shall commence. I need a kerosine heater

Finally replaced that pain in butt amber corner marker lamp on the passenger side, actually had to drop part of the SW bumper splash panel so I could get to it. Also left her inside the heated garage all last night so she could melt and dry off as the Mrs is taking her this morning as her car goes in for warranty work. Something about seeing someone/wife driving your vehicle down the road kind of puts a smile on my face. Well here's hoping yesterdays weather doesn't effect driving and if so I hope someone just lightly taps the rear bumper enough. . .so that I can get a plated rear already! Back to my 5 speed daily driver for the week I guess!

Drove it through 1-2ft of snow (in spots) today and the Coopers still do an awesome job (even after 50k miles). Didn't get stuck once! Then drove it to dig out the GF and her Taurus as school.

Bought a wireless reverse camera kit and a new Toyota hitch cover, I was thinking on mounting the camera there but the cover seems too nice and it's brand new so I don't wanna make a hole in it. time to think of a different route to do this...

Wondering wouldn't you be worried when parallel parking of other idiots tapping your hitch? I just figured it is the farthest sticking out point on the rear of the vehicle so it will be the first to make contact with anything, and how does it work if you needed to use the hitch?

thats what i was also thinking, i was contemplating the idea of putting it up on the wing but then i remembered i dont have one -___-. so it looks like I gotta fab up something. I'm gonna have to go to my friends shop and figure something out.

I've backed into a wall at my apt complex and other random stuff testing the distance to know on screen. The plug is pretty pliable so it bends and flexes in when pushed on. I have it wired to where i just pop the plug out, and unhook the two RCAs and can throw the receiver in and reverse for putting it back. Been used a few times since install, has worked pretty good.

in CA its your fault if not towing or having anything hooked up if you get into an accident.

In NYC i dont think we have that law.
I did have that into consideration, the part where you just take it off, unplug it and tow whatever you want. I just ordered my leveling kit and will mostlikely order the tires within a few weeks so i think putting the cam in the tow hitch plug is not a bad idea.

I like dark purple, I'd paint my truck Plum Crazy. I also like purple because of the ALZ foundation. I've had 2 grandparents with Alzheimer's and I'm a supporter of their research to try to prevent other families from having to deal with this in the future.

It's just a color anyways
