What did you do with your 4runner today?

I ordered the energy suspension sway bar link posts with heim ends to extend my rear sway bar lower for better angles. Plus looks cool. Will do write up in build thread once it arrives. Same as everyone else does but ill still post it.

Went in for alignment and new tires. Decided to upsize to 265/70/18. Don't see many run this size, but seems to be a great fit.

I actually did the exact same thing today. My stock ones are ruined from flexing my rear axle.

Had some fun in jersey wharton state forest and pop my nee to 4runner cherry lol. It was a beast. I felt good and safe in it. And lost my front plate now am going to get that ugly gold ny plate which i hate. Will post video once it uploads

Its a rola vortex rack with the extension. I got the lowering brackets from armor tech offroad. Its a nice rack for the money!

Looks good! Could you post up more pictures or send me some. The size looks perfect and the price I found online is cheap.

My return line for the power steering system sprung a leak on Tuesday, while on the way into work. Found a spot where the line rusted through. I put a temp hose/clamp patch on it until I could get it home. Today, I replaced the section of steel tubing that rusted through, refilled the system, and all is good.

Just another G'dam rust related problem in the Great Northeast...............

Not *today*, but as of recent.

Pioneer 4100NEX(threw in a backup cam and phone controls at the same time). Used UrbanRunner radio bezel. I want to re-drill the bracket to set the radio back 10mm or so.







Test fit one of the new wheels/tires to get an idea of the height. 16'' Procomp 7032s and 285/75 KO2. Still need suspension and UCAs.

picked up some hella comet 550 lights from a craigslist add for $50. great price seeing as they are 100 new online and these were never installed. only problem was they had some condensation in them but that was fixed in no time. now i just need to figure out what im going to do with them.

anyone have any mounting ideas for them? already have 500ff so i was trying to find out if the 550's could be mounted in a way that did not look odd. and no they dont fit in the lower grill

picked up this fj skid last night to fill up that huge hole between the end of the bumper and the start of the factory skid



Not pictured are the 4300K HID's (headlights and fogs) that came in the mail the other day. Just need a little time to throw all these parts on! Also Kevinpt, looks like you're not far from me. I'm just a little bit down the road in Frederick MD

edit: didn't mean for the pics to be so big, I'll have to work on resizing them for future posts

Finished 06+ headlight and trim update. Still haven't hooked up the marker lights but will get around to that some day. For now, it's good.

I picked up a silver 2012 Trail 8-hole wheel at a recycler for $80 in great condition. Felt a little guilty breaking up a set of four, but I was just about to pick up any Toyota wheel the same size to use as a spare. The little voice in side my head would have kept nagging "All you wheels aren't the same! All you wheels aren't the same!" if I hadn't got it, though.
