What did you do with your 4runner today?

Hauled 6tons (total) of fill dirt and crushed rock for the backyard landscaping.

Washed and detailed both of the 4Runners! Got a little sun burn in the process. Its a lil too soon for 90+ degree heat in the Berkshires!

Honestly, on both engine compartments i just use a damp rag. If there is some tough grime i need to remove, then ill use some non-diluted car wash soap on a rag, then use a wet cloth to carefully free it up, as not to ruin any finish.

Installed my Morimoto HID kit from TRS. This kit is definitely worth the money and is VERY high quality. I went with 4300K

Removed the Hydrocarbon filter, oiled and installed my K&N filter. Now my runner can breathe :boxer:

Changed the spark plugs on Saturday. Since I bought the 4Runner with 65K miles on it I didn't know if they had been changed before. Turns out they hadn't and you could tell they were overdue. Now I should be good for another 30K miles.

Got a new windshield from Safelite for $216.70 (out-the-door). Then i took out my Volant CAI and went back to stock airbox with a brand new TRD Performance Air Filter.

Today I did nothing to mod by 4Runner but I got the amp and speakers ordered to complete the stereo replacement this weekend.

got lucky!!! the little metal retainer clip that holds the brake pad guid pin in place on my front left tire had come off!. I had been riding around hearing these sound like two washers clanging together or pocket change bouncing around. i drove around trying to figure out what it was and pin pointed it to the front left tire. looked around checked everything couldnt for the life of me figure out what it was. I got back to the house an checked one more time and my wheel lined one of the D-windows up with the caliper this time as i was able to see the guide pin just hanging off the caliper it was tinging the steel rim making the noise (could you imagin if that rod had sliped through one of the D-windows while i was going down the road, the whole caliper would've broken appart!!!) anyway grabed some wire and used it where the clip would go so lucky!!.
