What did you do with your 4runner today?

I wired up my subwoofer since I had it sittin around from a past car. Might as well use it. I'm not that into the boom anymore but a single 10 isn't to over the top. I also took out the rear cargo shelf.
Then while I had stuff apart I wired in a constant hot cigarette lighter inside the center counsel. I also ran a aux cord from my stereo in there too.

Painted the front grill to match the lower "silver" fascia. I never liked the color matched look.

How did you get the aux stereo box out of there?

took me nearly 2.5 hours to install cbi bumper, this thing is heavy, still need to wire up rigid led.

Turned the big 5-0!

I've averaged 15k per year that I've had my truck (2 years and 11 days). Holy crap!

what I found amusing is that a lot of people here took picture of their odometer milestone while the speedometer is not zero... O_O

my point was that you took your eyes off the road while travelling at 45mph just to take a picture of your odometer. That could be dangerous for you and other drivers. Same as texting while driving.

Very true. I mount my iPhone on the steering column. It's as simple as slide to unlock and press one button. No different than me changing a song on my nifty new radio.

Picked up some heater hose to replace rear heat lines with rubber. Also got stuff to do ISR Mod.
And now I'm in line at the exhaust shop to get a flange cut out and replaced with a straight piece.

Added the Pioneer GEX-P20HD HD radio module to my new Pioneer AVH-P2400BT. I also added a parking brake override relay, but that's just three wires haha

Luckily I was able to hide the rather large box under the radio mounts!

My wiring is a friggin MESS! Gotta clean it up eventually.... :/ It looks good when it's buttoned up. It all tucks away nicely!

Thanks to my buddy Gaterose I finally got my Bilsteins 884/Superflex installed today. It was getting late so we were just able to grab some cell phone shots. Even though it was some hard work it was great hanging out and shooting the breaze. I will get some better pics tomorrow.

This is the pile of Xreas parts leftover. While i was working on some other parts Matt was pulling all the Xreas tubing out.

when you take off XREAS do the hoses leak fluid once removed?

Thanks. Yeah, the best way to get the Xreas system off is to have all four wheels off the ground to relieve pressure from the system. Since we didn't have a lift we just did it the messy way. It wasn't terrible, but there was some fluid. We tried to drain as much as possible into some containers.

You didn't use the quick disconnects? It's designed to not leak. You disconnect from about 1 foot down the tubing. I tried disconnecting directly from the shock, but Jdkilroy wasn't happy with me misting his garage with hydraulic fluid hahaha. Then I found the quick disconnects.

Truck looks even better now! Impressive!

Thanks man. LOL....nope, we just clamped the hose then disconnected them. Once we had them off we drained them into the container. Since i wasn't going to try and salvage the system I wasn't too concerned......plus it was in Matt's driveway, not mine.....lol:biggrin2:
