patched a tear in the leather seats
it doesn't match but will hold up a lot longer than the crappy patch job the dealership did all the paint and goop wore off in a weeks time.

Helped a nieghbor

Over the weekend, my neighbor (90), decided to call his son and told him to come and get his truck out of here. He was working on firing it up, airing tires, ect. when I left to the store. Came back and he had it in position using a come along. Noticed the 2' height he had to bring it up on the trailer and short ramps that it would be scraping going up and had to laugh to myself using the come along. Hey Rick, need a hand, no I got it, still laughing to myself.
Hey, let me make this easier. Parked next to his truck, pulled the hook out from the winch and said, let's try this, it never gets used yet any way, need to see if it still works.





Boy, with the scraping from the ramp and the angle of the climb, I think he would have still been here doing this and not getting it done.

All I heard from him all day seeing me was, thanks Leonard.

Very nice rig! What are your thoughts on the 5160s? I've been debating them for quite some time, but lack of info and price has kept me from getting them. To my knowledge, you're the only 4th gen on here with them.

They're awesome. I'm not sure how big of an improvement they are over the 5100s since I went from a stock shocks in the rear to 5160s. It is a world of difference though, I can blast down a bumpy dirt road averaging 40-50 and not feel like my vehicle is falling apart. And the reservoir looks very nice too, extra bling points.

youd be surprised how many people here ask me what my resi's are or just stare at them at lights. I enjoy it.

Driving back from a hunting trip right now and just noticed my small legal notepad fits perfect with the console tray open. Holds it nice and snug. Pretty handy for making notes for next weekend's hunting trip! Lol

Broke the relay trying to do the fog light mod? I sure did. Twice...

Constant window power? I can't remember if I added a relay or took one out for that. I think it was taking one out and adding a jumper

braved the shopping center. Parked three stores down just to get this.

took the rear driveline apart and put fresh grease in the slip yoke. driveline thud is gone!! the yoke was dry as a bone. everything else had been greased well but PO overlooked the slip yoke for awhile.

also noticed a vacuum line running into the top of the transfer case actuator. it was falling off and had a small split in it where it connected to the nipple on the actuator. what does this vacuum line do? what happens if it is leaking ?
