What did you do with your 4runner today?

Stuffed mine in a ditch last Wednesday after a big freeze and snow storm up in the mountains. Wish I had thought to take a picture, but was honestly too cold and pissed to bother. Downhill leading to a switch back was pure ice under the snow. Nothing I could do to catch it so I dumped it on the uphill slope side ditch rather than the alternative.
No damage besides my pride as a wrecker pulled me out. He had chains on

Hey Fort Mill!!! I lived in Fort Mill up until July. We're in Lake Wylie right now for a few years and then plan to move back to FM.

There are also other members in that area as well I believe. But then again, if chains were necessary then I would have been SOL anyway. Anyway, glad you're ok and got it sorted out.

Unfortunately with no working cell or internet for us up there, I had no way to put out a call for help. It would have been my first option if it were available. There were so many 4runners up there this weekend that I'm sure someone would have seen my plea 
Ended up costing $103 for the wrecker to pull me out but such is life.
There was no traction on the street side with the ice so even with the center diff locked, I couldn't get myself out. Looked sexy felxed out though!

took my truck for a smog check, had to help him research on how to bypass the abs, he said the traction control was kicking in, just had to unplug that gray connector at the abs. gave me a small discount since i help him. i think i passed with flying colors.

since i just got the car on friday,
today i did the front and rear diff fluid, transfer case fluid. balanced the tires, did an alignment
later in the week im gonna do the trans fluid

thanks to [MENTION=50591]gaterose[/MENTION] for the idea/inspiration. working on this......write up on my version in a few days when i am done.
so far got one side micked up with a install
they fit so well in there. looks like i may put two vertical 3 led red strips for rear markers.
Probably going to drop in some 50W LED's into the reverse bulbs too, but since those squares will be on with the reverse lights. might just pass on tat.

Looks good. Are you going to do anything to cover the area around the lights? Are those Hanma lights?

probably not. if you didnt own one you would not know they didnt belong there. looks pretty good the way it is. now to the right of the light where the holes are. i was thinking. LED strip two of them 3 in the row in red
