A 315 is technically a 35x12.5 even though it's 34.xx. I'm hoping to stay with 11.5" wide. That leaves me with a 285/75/17.

I can no longer tell what color my paint is behind my rear wheels because of this exact reason.

Paint is etched and looks like crap from acid rain here in Florida so no big deal there I'd rather it be covered with mud so I don't have to wax it just to make it not look like someone took a wire brush to it. The cladding will take the brunt of anything tossed up. Plus I rarely get to go anywhere without pavement anymore.... I may end up putting them back on when I get a little lift to keep the tires from rubbing.

I knocked out a few more of my OCD related items on the to-do list.

1. I bought some SEM trim paint and darkened the chalky unpainted trim on the grille. Woot.

2. I finally have a black roof rack! The last piece on the truck that was silver, except for the rims. Those are next but won't be black.

3. I used the spar urethane method to clean my headlights. The previous owner had sprayed them with a clear coat that was chipping off and looked like absolute shit. Problem solved. Minus the enormous amount of splatter from the wet-sanding.

Installed a Scion T1819 stereo the other day!! Sounds even better than the old T1809 and the stock stereo. Loving the bluetooth!! :driving:

Also ended up needing to change out the center display backlights.

- Installed Denso Iridium spark plugs @ 120k miles
- Hood struts replaced (StrongArm 6228 Front Hood Gas Lift Supports)
- Swapped out my 265/65 R17 spare with the 245/60 R20 spare... fit exactly in the space with no room to spare.
- Installed Super Mini ELM327 OBD-II Bluetooth & Dashcommand using Jailbroken iPhone5

I did not have the JBL-

2006 SR5, base model stereo. Had the T1809 in there for a couple years with the resistor mod so the AUX would work. However, I had an issue where i could not charge my phone off the cigaret outlet charge and have the AUX plugged in at the same time. The stereo wouldn't recognize it. With the 1819, the AUX no longer works, but now my phone is bluetooth connected.
