What did you do with your 4runner today?

Did you actually mount it there? What did you use for mounting? Any detail pics?

I'm just using 1 1/2" steel flat stock with a 1/2" nylon spacer to give enough room for the straps. More pics when I finish up. I just pulled the second deck out of the back and I'm trying to figure things out lol

I put my spare tie rods in the cubby behind the bag because I never use that cubby.

Went to my buddies campsite party out in the middle of the woods. No one else's vehicle could make it to the campsite so my 4R taxi'd about half of those 50+ people down there. it was a blast playing in the mud and the 4R did AWESOME!!! at one point I had 8 people and a dog on one of the trips. Good times, VERY muddy. I don't like mud lol

Debating removing my cargo deck... I've never used it. If I remove the deck then my husky liner will fit properly because it's for a 4R with no deck. Then the bag will be uninstructed

This might work. I removed my deck with no liner and I think it looks like crap. If you do it post pictures.

The pics I posted after install were with no deck. I kept the piece with the 2 D-rings right behind the seats, but got rid of the folding part and the deck. Things fit a little better

got a razor blade about 3/8's of an inch from the side wall. i think im in need of a new set of tires now. bad spare + cut tire = tire shopping




anyone able to confirm 255/70/18's fit stock?

Yep.

I run 255/75/17 which is the 17 inch rim equivalent, and yes they fit stock without lift. Only time I get rubbing is if I hit a big bump while at full lock. I love this tire size.

Nope, all I did was take off the mud flaps. I'm not so sure I would have even had to do that, but I prefer the look.
