Which brand install kit did you use? Amazon/Crutfield look like they each use a different one.
Do you have JBL?
Any issues?
Does it have camera input? I couldn't find anything on Kenwood's site and Amazon does not have the full specs yet.

No, had a local shop do it, with the Sirius module. I do not have JBL. I have a couple issues with the install, but the unit works well. Still figuring out playing music through Bluetooth, need to play with that somemore. Yes, it has a backup camera output. So far, very happy with this one.

So my local town folk must think i am more crazy then usual today
As after 3" inches of rain in the last 24 hours, i am now at the carwash power-washing truck

So last night after having the truck sit for 6+ hours i check for leaks and then drive home in torrential rain
I aim for the buildup of massive puddles,Flooded streets, ect
Take out flashlight and check entire interior
Dry not a drip anywhere,
So she sits over night, pouring all night long
Get up this morning go out and check and she is dry
Now i head to power wash place and aim for sunroof, windshield trims, cowl area, wheel well, undercarriage
Not a drip from anywhere
So at this point i am going to put the carpet back down, as its almost dry now
That padding and chit takes a really long time to dry
So i am thinking its either a ac drain problem, or it just never dried out from the last snowstorms
When i bought the truck 2 months ago i didn't have any weathertech floor mats just a paper one dealership gave me
Then i got them i just put it over the wet carpet
So maybe it never dried out from them being as it was clod as f&$& for the last 2 months until 10 days ago

It's a jute pad so it'll hold moisture. I'd put a fan on it if possible maybe in a garage. Also do you have a sunroof? most times it's a clogged sunroof drain.

no garage, no driveway,and its just about dry now....i have had the carpet up for 3-4 days now......
and yes have a sunroof and its remarkably sealed....and i have previously tested the sunroof drains....a -ok
i have checked for coolant leak from heater core and piping....all looks well.....
so im thinking dry it out and put it all back together and call it a day......
well if it ever stops raining.....

Also got more parts in this week

This will be replacements for the racks i have on now, these new ones are smaller so i can fit the kayak,shovel,fishing pole,and eventually axe mounts

I have racks for my racks now

I am going to use these for an quick fist, for an axe mount

These are the new to me racks mounted

I swapped the lock cores over so i can lock them as they fid not come with keys
I needed to retrofit them to fit my mighty mounts
Used all ss hardware....

I had to run out and get a key to remove the core

Here is a prototype shovel mount
And my fishing poles can go right next to them
Wooot

I got all new ss hardware for my kayak mounts

Got some new lugs for my new to me wheels

Now only problem is where to put my spare
Errrrrrrrr

How is everyone mounting say quick fists to your rear side plastic cargo panels???!?
I was thinking of just riveting them on?
Also the high lift cover does not fit with my slider adaptor installed
I might cut it or remove from jack
Idk,
i really want to leave it on the jack so might try cutting it or not using it

I'd highly recommend removing the plastic cargo panels and adding a metal piece behind it to distribute weight. You'd be amazed how weak the plastic gets with weight. Even for this tiny 7" long bar that I mounted my bag on, I put a 1.5"x1.5" square piece of metal to kind of distribute the weight so it wasn't focused on the 5/16" nut on the back side. I tore apart the entire back end of my truck to remove the panels to support the back side of this. I pulled the double deck system, I pulled the carpet, I pulled the little D-ring things next to the tailgate, I pulled the little plastic threshold... It took a lot of work

Those might be ok to just screw in, but if anything falls and pulls on the mount, it could rip out.

I'm sure you'd be fine. I like overcomplicating my mods

Removed some decals from my back window. It's so weird. I can see behind me now! Definitely sticking with die cut vinyl for the back window so I can see out of it, no big dark spots at night.

Mainly just making more room for my new batch or stickers coming from www.stickerHI.com

completed the brake job, stoptech slotted rotors all around, and hawk lts pads, adjusted the parking brake too, and it seems to hold. i hope this new set up is better than my old setup.
