What did you do with your 4runner today?

After six hours struggling with the drivers side. Done. Big thanks to the URD tech support line for their patience and knowledge.

How did you do your installation? I didn't end up disconnecting the front shaft, I went from the top down and needed some BFH persuasion.

The power increase is awesome though!

I tried going from the top, no luck. Plus I was working in the rain, on my dirt driveway. I should have just taken the steering shaft out first time around. URD suggested I take the studs out. I had to wait for a buddy to drive me to napa to get a socket to fit. Then after soaking in pb blaster, I sheered the tip off the first stud I tried. So not wanting one to break off in the heads, I went the steering shaft route.

Got in the final pieces to this weekends project. Color matched grill, black outed headlights (needed a new right headlight and decided to just go with the aftermarket blacked out instead of doing them myself), and some extra pads for my planned detailing (wash, compound, polish, and wax job).

Also realized the last time I was active on this site, I installed my spacers and new tires and haven't really done much since in the past 2 years. Have some long overdue plans for this summer.

The rear two cats are coming out soon when I install this in a few weeks

I'll just say, stomping on the gas on the highway with the rear window down smells delicious. I love hints of raw exhaust, like the smell of following a Harley or an old muscle car. Nomz

Went on a mountain drive yesterday. Almost all dirt, lots of rocks. For you guys it would be nothing but for me some parts of it would be a real off roading experience. Most of it was tame but there were spots to maneuver around and a lot more rocks than I thought there would be so my tires are rubbed a little raw. Oh yeah, I even flexed a little

Greg thinks I went too slow, but its not about speed right? At least not the terrain we were in. But whatever, he can go fast in his Runner and break something.

We ended with a picnic and fishing. Of coarse Cayleigh caught the most, even though she wouldn't touch them!!

Recharged the AC just right now. I use the sight glass method and turns out I was just a bit low as I only squeeze the trigger a few times. Decided to check my old Acura Legend too and it was much lower. Added the rest of the can into it. Both cars are back to ice cold.

Got my rear FJ springs to match the fronts I picked up earlier this week.

Well finally installed the front daystar 2.5" and removed the 1" that I had in there from back in Feb. already had the rears done a few weeks back I think I am satisfied!

Got some new headlights so i baked them apart last night to paint and put my projectors in, after painting used the 4runner for some attach points for the hammocks.
