What did you do with your 4runner today?

Figured out a mounting solution for my storage container. I know someone asked how I was going to mount it so I figured I'd show everyone in case anyone else is curious. It's probably a little bit over kill but I don't want it sliding around in the back. Made some para cord adjustable leashes and used carabiners and then also a bungee cord on the sides. I don't think it's going anywhere, but it can be removed in like 5 seconds.

It's a Plano model 1819. It was like 35 bucks at academy sports. I love it, it's a great size for our trucks.

Went on a late night recovery mission

Showed up at 10:30, set up my gear, and got behind the wheel of the wrangler to get it out. I have a lot more seat time than my buddy has. Glad to help a brother out I've known him for 18 years

Wouldn't sticky back Velcro on the bottom hold it in place?

Changed my spark plugs, 107k and still had originals, half ngk half denso. For being in there that long they weren't terrible.

Added a center speaker switch. That way it's like it's unplugged, but without the commitment..lol
Still have to run the wiring to the back for the camera. That way I can keep an eye on the bikes.

Probably...but I KNOW this will. Offroad too.Plus when sleeping in the back ill have to move it to the roof or something and I don't have a roof basket so the velcro would scratch my roof. :driving:

Why would you want to disable the center speaker?

A lot of people simply unplug it and say it sounds better without it. It hurts the sound on a lot of songs.
