Gotcha.
I agree with the one assessment that the rope/carabiners/shoelaces looks a little hillbilly for my tastes, but if it works for you and you're happy with it, that's the most important thing.

Finally got around to putting my cheap JVC unit in... And I realized it isn't quite as wide as the stock unit.
You need this adapter kit.

Flexed for First time!
Today I went out and Flexed my 4Runner for the first time! I'm a newbie so I started small!
I had so much fun I ran out and purchased a used set of Goodyear Wrangler MTR tires in size 255/75-17! Found a used set for $200 out the door! They have about 50% tread left. I wanted to see if I can live with the noise and the feel of the MT tires without breaking the bank.
Mud flaps must go!
Today I went out and Flexed my 4Runner for the first time! I'm a newbie so I started small!

That's a good shot! And I must say, I'm a little jealous of the white too. I set out to buy white this last time, but ultimately I couldn't break tradition of my last 2 4Runner - so I went with silver a 3rd time in a row. Ha!

Couldn't wait until Friday... so I went ahead and put my black FJ wheels and +1 tires on. Previous owner had them aired down to about 12psi, good thing the air station was close. :sad:

No but I think it will look better without them. I took them off but ran out of light for pictures. I had a mullet back in the 80's. I wish I had gotten rid of it sooner! :lmao:

i removed mine but i dont think they would rub. when i got my 255/70/18's i only rubbed on the front fender. a slight movement to that and all is good

Fixed a the window switch on the rear driver side door. The clip on the inside broke so I used a plastic bond to secure it back in there.
I also threw this in the trunk: Amazon.com: Cargo Storage Net Toyota 4Runner 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 Genuine Toyota New: Automotive

and put in the WeatherTech liners a few weeks ago. Theyre great so far but sheesh very pricy. I wonder if I should have gone with the Toyota rubber mats instead.
