In California we get to wait in line for hours at the DMV to get new or replacement plates. Add that to the long list of reasons not to move here.

I left that chithole ainkiller: only to end up in MA another chithole ainkiller: that taxes you for everything and I mean everything.
But soon moving back to Seattle. :wave:
But before I go I will be doing the front left wheel bearing hub assy and the right up stream O2 sensor.

Which material did you use?

a neoprene rubber from mcmasters, I can post the part# when I get home and check the invoice

for anyone who hasn't delt with mcmasters they are awesome. I've ordered from them twice and both times I received my item the next day.

Well I had to order factory cv axles for the beast BECAUSE the cheap ones I bought the boots ripped only after 3500 miles. Say NO to Detroit Axle....

Happen yesturday , had to run up to Alturas to drop of my daughter to moms house,
On the way back contacted [MENTION=25740]awdjunkies[/MENTION] as I was going to be coming through Reno on my way home. Made a meet up time and location as we have never met yet.
Great guy and a very clean t4r.

Hooked up the rearview camera, Sirius, upgraded the firmware, and tidied up the head unit install a bit.

I put in a Kenwood 891HD.

It was a nice rainy day here.

I used the Oil-resistant Vinyl Rubber, Plain Back, 1/8" Thk, 12" X 24", 80a Durometer from McMaster Carr. They are a great company to work with and ship super fast!

After a couple of months of sitting in my house, finally had my flowmaster 50 series installed. Took of the resonator and rerouted to the side with a new tip. So far I am pleased with the sound, will see how it breaks in.

Did you pull the whole trim piece off? Did you remove the emblem from the trim piece or just mask it? I think it looks great!

I haven't gotten the hdmi cable yet, but supposedly with it, the deck will control your phone from the touchscreen. Can't wait to get that going.

The navi is way better than my old DNX8120 (which was bad ass!) and the sound is unreal.

Call quality is way better. I never could get my 8120 to work with any phone (flip phones, droids, iPhones). People would hang up on me thinking they had dropped me. I upgraded the firmware, and did everything you could think of over the years before I just gave up.

I don't have the amp yet, but as good as it sounds just powered from the head unit, I really can't get over it!

No snags with the install so far. I haven't even broken anything! :becky:

Thinking about getting one of these fake double din covers for security, since I can't mount it deep enough to cover it:

Passenger caliper was seized shut... replaced that and all pads and rotors.. in the process finding the other front caliper 1 piston was frozen as well.. so thats being ordered.. Also when do the rears the drivers side rear parking brake assembly was frozen into the rotor.. nothing could get it released to I beat it until it disintegrated. removed the entire assembly from that wheel and tied off the cable so it wasn't interfering. the passenger side was fine.. i left it alone.

Breaks in nicely, have had mine for about a month, gets a little deeper/throatier! We have the exact same setup, tip and all!

Washed my 4th gen and started restoring the headlights.

I used this kit from Mothers.

Hard to tell here but both headlights were extremely faded and pitted.

So after about an hour or so with the buffing wheel and polish that comes in the kit, this is the result. Not perfect but much better. There is also an extreme damage kit in the box that I did not use yet. It consists of a couple small sanding blocks with 1000 grit on one side and 2000 grit on the other designed for wet sanding. Mothers recommends using the buffing wheel and polish first. Unfortunately, I ran out of time today so I'll have to wet sand then re-polish later.
