What did you do with your 4runner today?

Did you pull the whole trim piece off? Did you remove the emblem from the trim piece or just mask it? I think it looks great!

I just pulled the whole piece off. There were only 5 bolts holding it on. I like it a lot. I'm gonna plastidip a lot more stuff now!

It was 8513k27 Oil-Resistant Vinyl Rubber 1/8" thick. Probably wouldn't hurt to go thinner.

I got 2 feet of the 36 inch length to make sure I had enough. Cost was $21.08 + whatever shipping was.

It is a really nice looking and durable feeling material that is pretty easy to shape with a razor knife.

Also put a tape to my fenders. 39" front, 40" rear. Disappointing.

I need to do the same. I have be without front plate sense I built the bumper. I think I'll pop it on today

Just put your plate on the dash. That's what I did. Haven't had a single issue

Stealth Sirius antenna install.

I had to flip it 180 from what the pic shows; the antenna won't fit in that spot (started raining so couldn't get the pic).

I used the metal plate for the GPS that came with the Kenwood, and dremeled it into shape.

I'm always amazed at how clean some guys keep their engine bays on here. Mine looks like cabin air filter after 150k miles.

This was actually the first true engine detail job I've done in the last 100k miles. I give it the occasional hose down, but this was maybe 30 mins of scrubbing with a detailing brush and diluted bottle of simple green. Really doesn't take much to look all new again!

I've asked many police officers that I see come into the store I work at and they all have said it's ok. As for dangerous, it's wedged in between the glass and the foam with my winter hat under it to prop it up against the glass. Hasn't moved at all even when off road

Looks like it is against code to have it in the window. Same as in Va... has to be up front.
